INSPIRE DANCE & PERFORMANCE COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Directors' report period ended 30 June 2024

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 June 2024

Principal activities of the company

June 2023 - June 2024 In our first year as a Community Interest Company, the response, commitment, and success have been fantastic. Our turnover was £4,827.79, and our expenses matched this figure, ensuring that all funds were reinvested back into the community. Our turnover was made up of the following: Second-hand uniform sales, kindly donated by parents Event sales, including activities such as Inflatanation, parties, drag bingo, an AcroPad workshop, and a raffle at the Inspire Dance Show The turnover was spent on: Workshops: We organised seven workshops with dance, drama, and performance experts. These events were free for all children in the local community to attend. Equipment: Essential equipment was purchased for Inspire Dance, including stretch bands, sliding plates, and blocks for acro. Financial Support for Students: Six students were supported financially to attend lessons and take exams. Without this support, they would not have been able to participate. As a Community Interest Company, we believe we are achieving our goals of providing dance opportunities to the local community and supporting dancers within Inspire Dance to push themselves further.
