A strategic partnership was developed with local studio Alpha Pro Creative, to assist them in their aims of delivering high quality music services to local aspiring professional musicians and community events. This partnership allowed Fuzz Music Services to shape the delivery of services at Alpha Pro Creative, and in turn Alpha Pro Creative can refer individuals or organisations to Fuzz Music to assist them with their aspirations. Funding was successfully acquired to assist a band (Setrakain) with a promotional campaign for a single release. Fuzz now co-promotes a series of events at local venues aimed at developing audiences for emerging artists to help the overall sustainability of the local grass roots music economy.
We have helped The Victoria Inn with their events by sourcing and supplying upgraded PA equipment and providing sound services for events – this is ongoing We have co-promoted events at The Hairy Dog and The Victoria Inn, developing a new, growing audience that follow our events and ensure artists are paid – this is ongoing We provided sound services and strategy and artists (paid) to Derby Silk Mill Festival, a union funded free outdoor community event in Derby, and will provide again in 2025 We have assisted Derby Poetry Festival by sourcing and supplying musicians (paid) to accompany poets at events that require ambient music We have provided tuition and mentoring to a range of people from young people with autism who pursue music as a hobby, to aspiring professionals who require career guidance.
The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £5,465.93. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
