Turnover represents residents' contributions towards the maintenance of properties. The company is not registered for VAT. |

Taxation |
The company is not liable to corporation tax on trading with its members. Any tax charge would be based only on investment income. Provision is made for deferred taxation only if there are material timing differences. |
Residential management |
There is a statutory trust imposed over service charge monies received under Section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and that the residential management company acts a trustee in this capacity and all closing balances of cash and other assets are held in trust by the residential management company. |
