Company activities and impact

Overview My Butterflies C.I.C (Butterflies) has not engaged in any significant activity. Due to unforeseen external circumstances, the planned expansion of the Butterflies groups was halted. These challenges have directly impacted our operations, leading to a difficult yet necessary decision regarding the future of the programme. Butterflied Programme Closure After careful consideration, the decision was made to close Butterflies. This was not an easy choice, as the programme has played a significant and poignant role in the lives of many. Butteflies has provided a safe and nurturing space for personal development and empowerment. Despite its closure, the impact of the programme continues to be deeply felt by those who participated. Continued support for Girls and Mentors Although the Butterflies programme is no longer operational, the connection between the girls and mentors remains intact. Facilitators continue to provide guidance, and participants continue to benefit from references, networking opportunities and group contact. The relationships built through Butterflies have fostered lasting support systems that will continue to empower and uplift the individuals involved. Looking Forward While this year presented unexpected challenges, Butterflies remains committed to its mission of supporting and empowering individuals through community-driven initiatives. Future opportunities will be explored to build upon the legacy of Butterflies and continue providing valuable support to our community. Conclusion This year has been marked by change and difficult decision, but the enduring impact of Butterflies reflects the strength of the community it created. We extend our gratitude to all facilitators, mentors and participants for their continued engagement and support.

Consultation with stakeholders

Butterflies' primary stakeholder include programme participants (girls and mentors), facilitators and parents/guardians. Consultation Methods: - Termly parents evenings to engage with parents/guardians and collect feedback - Online evaluations and suggestion forms to gather input from participators - In-session discussions where young people share experiences and suggestions - Monthly one-to-one meetings with teenage mentors to review previous sessions and plan future content - Regular meetings of the Youth Advisory Board, where mentors and volunteers influence training programme content and delivery Actions Taken In Response to Feedback: - Maintained communication channels to offer ongoing support despite the closure of Butterflies - Provided references and networking support for mentors and participants - Facilitator continued to offer guidance and assistance to individuals seeking further support - Explored future opportunities for rebuilding and launching new initiatives to serve the community As there has been limited operational activity this year, formal consultations were minimal. However, ongoing informal discussions ensured that key stakeholders remained engaged and supported.
