The company runs an advisory and support service in the area of Spinney Hill, Leicester. The activities have benefited the community in the following ways: - working collaboratively with a local drug and advisory group to support addicts (alcohol and drugs) from the local Asian community - to provide a local base for addicts for rehabilitation - provide necessary non-financial support, such as food banks - the successful rehabilitation of addicts to ensure their inclusiveness back into society - workshops for clients to support their rehabilitation with professional and local community leaders - Gym and health well being sessions - Counselling support for service users - Engagement with other faith groups to network and share experiences - Greater presence locally an nationally via media and social platform networks - Educational programmes at established institutions (schools)
The CICs stakeholders are the directors, management team, volunteers and members of the community who regularly meet monthly. There is also regular meeting with funders and local community.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £10,324, There was no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the renumeration of directors, or compensation for directors loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
