Year Ending: 30 June 2024

Company activities and impact

Over the past year, GLIM Community has continued to support the Comber Grove Primary School PE department by organizing activities and events for both the children and the local community. The school continues to benefit from the support provided and wishes to extend this collaboration for the upcoming year. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to reopen our holiday services, but we plan to do so in the near future. GLIM Community has also continued its support for South Bank UTC. Through collaboration with local businesses, we have created opportunities for business growth while providing essential services to young people in the community through an exchange of services. This initiative has been highly positive, benefiting both the college and the businesses involved. We offer gym services for young people and local residents at South Bank UTC, as well as LinkedIn masterclasses for Year 12 and Year 13 students attending the college. These services are also available to the local community. Additionally, we provide targeted career support and guidance for young people at risk of becoming NEET
