Steer and Fly Community Interest Company is based in Coventry. It has supported parents by coaching and signposting. The service supports the parent themselves and/or supports them with their child’s education. This has benefitted the parents by helping them to navigate their problems and find a way to move forward, providing them with the confidence and a steer to help them progress. This was carried out either face to face, telephone or for some online.
Social media/WhatsApp was used to consult alongside face-to-face meetings with key beneficiaries of those who used the services the most. From September 2024 we were able to work as a ‘pop up’ alongside another community group in the area of Ball Hill. This enabled us to do 1-1 drop in sessions in a set location.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
