Company activities and impact

Her Circle CIC provided a range of activities for women who experience complex motherhood. These complexities oftentimes result in the risk or occurrence of child removal if unaddressed. Her Circle CiC provides activities to help them recover from complex motherhood and relief the risk they pose to their children. These activities have included wellbeing classes, support groups, arts and crafts and peer support, yoga, walking groups, retreats and women's circles. Women have been involved in research across the region to bring attention to the needs of women who experience complex motherhood. Training has been delivered to organisations to support better practice from practitioners, including social workers with women with multiple and complex needs. Our activities have promoted the wellbeing of the women we serve as well as raising support and consciousness of the rising inequality for families in the north. It is hoped we are supporting the change in social care provision within the UK and northeast specifically.
