The company’s activities have provided benefit to locally based, professional and amateur visual artists in this financial year. We provide ‘open plan’ affordable art space where artists can collaborate and discuss their work. The community will benefit by: -having access to open plan, affordable art spaces. -have access to other artists for inspiration, collaboration, support etc -have access to other artists for friendship, promote mental wellbeing etc -add to the rich and diverse cultural and artistic endeavours that preside within the Calder Valley, benefitting the wider community in terms of tourism generated by gallery showings, open studios etc. -have a voice to input, offer ideas, collaborate with the studio’s operational activities and events -execute, inspire and engage in multiple visual art practices -create art shows, open studio events, gallery openings etc -provide member lead art workshops
All our stakeholders are members of our art studios, including the directors. We work together in an open plan environment. All decisions and actions are made as a group from "face-to-face" consultation and feedback. We also have a private WhatsApp group (members only) so any stakeholders can communicate with all other stakeholders at any time.
