Workshops on sustainable sanitary wear and period poverty have been delivered with local women, sewing and mending skills workshops have been delivered in the local covered market. These were free to attend and benefitted the community in terms of teaching the skills, knowledge and resources required to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Alongside the above workshops four day events- 'Fixfest' were delivered in four locations across South Cumbria to celebrate all that each location has to offer in terms of initiatives and organisations to do with sustainability, fixing, upcycling, waste reduction, waste saving and to bring the community together in this endeavour.
Questionnaires were filled out by attendees to the four FixFest events and by wider networks in person and online to inform our future plans for a Library of Things in the area. Responses to these questionnaires were recorded and collated and have helped us to formulate our business plans going forward- which include a Library of Things.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
