Company activities and impact

The company carries out activities which benefit the communty. Offering support planning and brokerage services throughout Blackburn and Darwen Offering Volunteering and Peer mentoring opportunities Hub for student placements Enable and empower people to have choice and control in their care provision Signpost people to local services Work in partnership with other CIC groups and business Offering a direct Payment Support Service Some activities were reduced due to the impact of Covid 19 from April 2020.

Consultation with stakeholders

The companys stakeholders are local people and those who reside in other areas. The directors of the company have lived locally and the business model was developed based on their experience of talking to locals about social care. Through regular engagement with our community we are able to identify the social care needs in our community.
