The company is a private company limited by shares and registered in England and Wales. It was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The Director acknowledges their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
Average number of employees
The average number of persons employed by the company in the period was 4 (previous period: 3).
Additional Disclosures
HMRC Liability The company has a liability with HMRC arising from the late filing of historical VAT returns. The VAT returns were brought up to date in August 2024, but the exact liability, including any penalties and interest, remains uncertain as of the date of approval of these financial statements. Management is in discussions with HMRC to determine the final amount payable and expects to resolve the matter in due course. Based on management’s judgment, any resulting liability is not expected to be material to the financial statements. Prior Period Adjustment During the year, the company identified historical intercompany sales amounting to £50,467 that had been incorrectly classified as liabilities. These amounts have now been correctly reclassified and posted to retained earnings. As a result, the prior year figures have been restated to reflect this correction. This adjustment does not impact the company’s cash position or overall net assets.
