Brent Bulls CIC, established in 2020, is dedicated to promoting and providing basketball programs and services for participants of all ages and skill levels in London. During the 2023-24 financial year, we aim to grow grassroots participation in sports through various basketball opportunities, fostering a positive environment where individuals can develop fitness, wellness, social interaction, teamwork, fair play, representation, and leadership skills. Brent Bulls CIC has made significant contributions to the community during the 2023-24 tax year in the following ways: - We provide basketball programs for different age groups and skill levels in the North-West area of London. - We create educational pathways through sport by partnering with schools, including St. Dominic Sixth Form College, St. Charles Sixth Form College, and the University of Westminster. - We collaborate with local businesses and communities to promote activity and sports, partnering this year with Basketballx England and Brent Cross Town. - We deliver educational sports courses and qualifications to the London community, focusing on various coaching levels. - We offer more opportunities for women through basketball, including our participation in the Women's National Basketball League team, one of the few in London. - We provide work and volunteering experiences for youth and community members who wish to get involved and make a positive impact through sport. - We represent the Borough of Brent in the London Youth Games for U19 boys and girls. - We conduct outdoor outreach programs to increase awareness of physical activity and sports among the younger generation, collaborating with Brent Cross Town and the London Basketball Association.
