The company has diversified it’s collaboration over the past 12 months, developing learning and best practice gleaned from research work carried out with the UK Military and Veteran communities and translating this into multiple other marginalised communities; based upon the ethos that all marginalised communities share a journey through trauma, subject to certain cultural considerations and necessary bespoke measures, and all communities are stronger when working together, acknowledging what they share with each other, and cognisant of the need to not reinvent the wheel. This has manifested in the company playing a significant role in planning the inaugural Doncaster Muslim Wellness Conference, that took place in November 2024; seeking to raise much needed awareness and stigma reduction in this community, learning significantly from the previous Veteran research work in this area, and bringing other marginalised communities onboard this pioneering initiative when able and ready. The company is an integral part of multiple novel and pioneering trauma, mental health and suicide prevention outputs; such as a Veteran Mental Health stageplay that is touring the UK, a Muslim Mental Health stageplay concept that is being developed, planning the next Doncaster Muslim Wellness Conferences, involvement in Dying Matters Week and many other initiatives.
The company’s stakeholders are evolving to a much wider cohort of marginalised communities, coalescing around their central shared journeys through trauma, suicide prevention and mental health. The ethos of the foundation’s work is researching and mitigating PTSD, trauma and suicide prevention, in it’s various guises, through all measures available and involving all available communities to contribute to progress and debate. The company was proud to be supportive of a recent short promotional film that showcased the inaugural Doncaster Muslim Wellness Conference journey. Consultation with stakeholders continues via regular outputs on social media (LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook), collaboration upon academic papers, conference outputs and other novel and pioneering collaborations.
