During the financial year, the company focused on raising funds to support the development of a community based education centre. The centre also served as a hub for accessible learning, skills training and educational support for the wider local community. Our activities included: Hosting community fundraising events Launching public fundraising campaigns to raise awareness and gather community support Engaging with local businesses and supporters to secure sponsorship and donations In addition to this focus we also raised and donated funds in response to charitable causes during the year. These efforts reflect our border commitment to community well-being and solidarity.
The stakeholders are local residents who would like to further their knowledge in Islamic studies. We held consultation with the community in the area to establish if there was a need for a community centre to serve the area and we found over 50 households who would welcome the idea. We developed communication lines to keep stakeholders informed of our progress and will continue to run community events and fundraisers in the future.
