The company’s activities include publishing thirteen podcasts on the subject of Transactional Analysis – a psychosocial model, which promotes the understanding of the human psyche, interpersonal relationships, human systems and organisations. The underpinning values of TA, which is a humanistic approach promotes harmony and respect in communities. This activity has benefitted the international Transactional Analysis (TA) community, including trainees, TA psychotherapists, TA counsellors & coaches, TA Educators and TA Organisational Consultants / Coaches. The publications have also benefitted listeners who are professionals and who are not TA trained, such as, psycho- therapists / counsellors / coaches, organisational specialists & consultants / educators, trainers, teachers / psychologists (clinical, educational & organisational) and psychiatrists.
The Transactional Analysis Podcast stakeholders includes the podcast hosts, individual listeners, and the national and international organisations that organise accreditation and training in TA. The podcast hosts have attended quarterly planning meetings to discuss plans for the next quarter and to schedule recordings. The podcast hosts offer feedback on which guests would be appropriate for the upcoming year and we respond to their feedback and invite them to approach the guests they suggest. The choosing of expert guests who we interview for each podcast (every episode has one expert guest or more) is now also done via the guests approaching us via email or a link on our website (tapodcast.com). They are invited to propose a particular TA subject for discussion or a subject pertaining to current events. We then contact them and plan a date for their interview recording. We also approach experts in specific fields based on recommendations from the listening public who contact us via our social media channels and email. We held regular meetings with the international bodies who have sponsored the podcast until October 2024, the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) and the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA). We discussed quality assurance on every episode published and held meetings to discuss the potential for future sponsorship. We also invited dialogue with numerous national TA bodies and asked how we might work in partnership with them to promote TA. We held meetings with one national body and we are organising more partnership collaborations for 2025.
