Company activities and impact

Flash of Splendour Arts continues to benefit the community through literary, historical, musical and artistic activities. The focus this year has once again been on consolidation and research for current and future projects, collaborations and books. The success of our outreach initiatives, storytelling and publications relating to the medieval Anglo-Flemish character of Reynard the Fox and the 1930s character of Old Fox has continued throughout the year – new viewings of our collaborative film with Aardman Animations and Bristol University, for example, featuring in several international film festivals, including the Singapore International Film Festival and the Animals Fabula Festival. Core activities have also continued: regular SEND consultations, individual mentorship at Flash of Splendour Arts in Eynsham, training activities and consultancy work. The bulk of our provision continues to be online, which has enabled increased accessibility both in the UK and internationally, crucial to our core disabled audience.
