COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

Company Number: 07880553 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 December 2024

Company activities and impact

Our main activities and projects this year have focused on developing the leadership skills of young people in Stockport and Manchester. We invested heavily on equipment and practitioners that delivered various sessions in music, arts, and creative media. We supported local artists via Pie Radio, a Stockport based DAB radio station owned by us. We supported young people with work experience opportunities within our organisation as well as in partner organisations. We invested heavily into the events department as a way of promoting Pie Radio to increase the reach of the station and to create a new income strand so we can be self-sustainable. As such we engaged the services of international artists and DJs which were costly, some events made profit, but overall, we lost some money. This was a good learning experience and we're focussing on building structures to better manage these events and fully explore the opportunities moving forward.
