During the 2023-24 Financial Year, Work In Progress Theatre had the following impact: Provided a platform for 23 early career performers and creatives to gain a professional credit through a musical theatre production (Dinner with Gatsby), developing skills and improving employability. The production raised awareness of domestic abuse, misogynism, and LGBTQ+ inequality to 250 audience members, and raised over £1000 for the Mosaic Trust. Provided a platform for 5 early career performers to gain a professional credit through an Fringe cabaret performance in London. Gained funding for, and began the promotion and administration of, an opportunity providing 13 young creatives and artists from Walsall, West Midlands to be paid for their work and have it published in a book, along with wider community engagement.
