The Legacy Guild C.I.C consist of a panel of experts with various skills in business arts and craft. Thet are willing to pass on these skills to others in the community to help the development of community projects and initiatives. The Legacy Guild created a youth engagement project called Youth into Opera using the expertise of a music composer and opera singers we ran two workshops for one hundred and fourty young people in the local community. The aim of this project was to engage young people in the arts and introducing them to Opera. We have also devloped a music service designed to help people living with demenia enjoy their own bespoke muiscal memories. We ran a limited pilot program and hope to raise funds to roll this service out throughout the community.
We have shared ideas and projects with relevant people in the community to get feedback and acted on this. We are also in regular contact with local charities to offer our services.
