Additional information
Rainbow’s End was let for holidays until the end of 2024, as planned, but bookings dried up in October and trading revenue ceased. This and the fact that the contracted cleaner went out of business caused a decision to change the rental to a residential one. Revenue from this started in March 2025 but the year had to be supported by a further director’s loan. Queen St, Pontefract continues to be refurbished. However, a license from Wakefield Council for the grating alteration has still not been obtained. A new contractor has been contacted and it is hoped that work will recommence in Summer 2025.
