The Company ceased trading on 28 September 2003 when it withdrew from a pooling agreement and the operating lease of Condor Vitesse was also terminated. The principal activities of the Company prior to 28 September 2003 were the charter, ownership and provision of sea vessels.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Other accounting policies

    The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable United Kingdom accounting principles and with the Companies Act 2006. The accounting policies which have been applied consistently are described below. Going concern The Directors are of the opinion that it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis due to the continuing support of the ultimate parent company. Taxation The charge for taxation is based on the results for the period. Deferred taxation is recognised as an asset or liability if transactions have accrued at the balance sheet date that give rise to a right to pay less tax in the future or an obligation to pay more tax in the future. Deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted. Cashflow and related party disclosures The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Condor Limited and is included in the consolidated financial statements of Condor UK Holdings Limited which are publicly available. Consequently, the company has taken advantage of the exemption in FRS1 (revised 1996) from preparing a cashflow statement.
