Company activities and impact

We have worked to support and provide support for homeless clients when they are placed in our service. We have provided Housing/ Tenancy related support while the tenants reside in our schemes. We have developed and supported implementation of a model of homelessness provision and this increases access to housing. We have built capacity, so services and support are holistic and meet the diverse needs of those who access them. Our support has been for our residents to maintain and sustain a tenancy which is a prevention of homelessness. This has benefitted the community as it has reduced homelessness and given a good quality of life to our clients. We support our clients with any support issues that they have for example substance Misuse, Drugs and alcohol related issues, mental health issues and also support in their finances in terms of budgeting and setting goals. Our support that benefits the community also include Advocacy support, For example we develop personal safety plans and liaising with Gps, Social Workers and Welfare benefit agencies. Specialist support for victims, for example faith services, translator and interpreters, immigration advice, interpreters for victims identifying as deaf or hard of hearing and LGBTQ victims. Support designed for victims with additional or complex needs. Housing Related Support for example assistance on housing rights. Advice services for example on financial and legal issue and support into work Domestic abuse prevention advice, such as support to assist victims to recognise the signs of an abusive relationship and help them to remain safe and prevent re victimisation. We provide relationship-based approaches and strength-based approaches to support our residents. The outcome of the support that we provide is that there will be a reduction in homelessness as the residents will be supported to maintain and also sustain the tenancies. We aim to give people who have experienced homelessness and chronic health, and social care needs a stable home from which to rebuild their lives. Our properties are developed by our developers at very high standards. Our services have benefited the community as a whole in reduction of homeless, supporting our clients who have substance misuse issues, which has positively impacted the larger community.
