YES Creative Beats CIC has delivered a wide range of drumming and percussion-based workshops over the past year, with the aim of bringing people together, connecting communities, improving confidence, boosting mental health, and reducing loneliness. Most of our workshops were part of funded projects, allowing us to provide free access to participants. We have engaged with a wide demographic, including babies, children, teenagers, adults, older people, disabled adults, and people with specific conditions such as Parkinson’s. We have worked with schools (including special schools), NHS groups, and community organisations. We’ve also delivered skills-based sessions focusing on employability, communication, team-building, and personal development, as well as leadership skills We’ve supported many local events- by running large-scale, interactive community drumming workshops that are open to all.
Workshop Participants: At YES! Creative Beats CIC, we regularly consult with our participants, tailoring our approach to suit each group’s needs. This includes before-and-after questionnaires, with visual formats for children and learning-disabled adults to ensure accessibility. Funders: We maintain close communication with our funders throughout each project, providing regular updates and gathering participant feedback to ensure everyone is satisfied with our delivery. Comprehensive end-of-project reports are produced to share outcomes and learnings and to inform future projects. These consultations help us continually improve our work and remain accountable to all our stakeholders. Company Directors: Directors communicate weekly to ensure everything is working as expected.
One director has received financial renumeration during this accounting period. Payments were made, not for their role as director, but as payment as a self employed workshop facilitator. Emma Theunissen has received £8571 during this accounting period for delivering workshops.
