Company activities and impact

2024 was a year of many achievement's. In January 2024 the building was granted change of use to a Residential Childrens Home, this was followed by the appointment of a new Manager and subsequently Registration by Ofsted to operate a Residential Childrens Home. In September the home welcomed its first resident placement and began working holistically with the Young Person to bring about positive changes in their life. This was followed by a second in November 2024. A total of 10 people are now employed by the home to work to improve lives of the young people in our care. A new deputy Manager was appointed in October 2024, they are now working toward their interview with Ofsted to take over the role of Registered Manger, Looking forward to 2025, it is hoped that with a successful Ofsted Rating the Home will expand to work with 4 young people.

Consultation with stakeholders

Regular meetings take place with the Young People in the care of the Home, the staff that look after them and where appropriate the families of those young people. As the Young people in the home are their under joint custody arrangements with the Local Authority, there are regular meetings with Social Worker and senior team members from the Local Authority.
