    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Income and expenses are included in the financial statements as they become receivable or due. Expenses include VAT where applicable as the company cannot reclaim it.

    Other accounting policies

    Going concern These financial statements have been drawn up on the going concern basis. If the going concern basis were not appropriate, adjustments would have been made to reduce assets to recoverable amounts, to provide for any further liabilities that might arise, and to re-classify fixed assets as current assets and long term liabilities as current liabilities.

Company activities and impact

Creation of a full scale theatre production (GRILLS at Camden People’s Theatre, December 2022) based on our previous 2022 work-in-progress performance; aimed at Camden local & LGBTQIA+/BIPOC audiences. Production explored the significance of archiving Queer history; highlighted hidden local history and significance of the Camden Lesbian Centre and Black Lesbian Group (CLCBLG). Workshops on deep-democracy and decolonising the rehearsal room undertaken with cast and creative teams involved in the performance. Planning and research undertaken into creating an oral history project based on the production, to be made freely available on partner organisations websites in order to widen the projects outreach.

Consultation with stakeholders

Camden People’s Theatre – Future partnership discussed, agreement to continue fruitful partnership through 2025; oral history project partnership and launch party host venue. Camden Council – Continued support via funding streams and invitation to networking events. Future partnership meetings scheduled.
