The company's activities have benefited the community in the following ways: - The company has launched a 'Help+' webpage with web links to vital resources. This helpful webpage is a powerful tool that helps women by increasing access to information, support and opportunities. Including resources for health, education, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and wellbeing. Unlike physical services, our webpage is accessible any time. This is beneficial for women that may work irregular hours, with caregiving responsibilities or those in crisis that may need discreet or immediate help. - The company has regularly engaged with women through informal conversations, events and outreach to ensure that we hear all voices within our community, to provide suitable and useful resources to aid women's wellbeing. - The company has focussed on strengthening community ties and enhancing the visibility and impact of our work to ensure that our webpage is accessible and known about amongst women. - Built friendships with local female owned businesses and support groups and increased the company's visibility and credibility to further support the community. - Searched for appropriate land to host our 'Ladies Environmental Club' activities. As connecting with the natural, local environment helps the women in our community's wellbeing and health.
The company's stakeholders are currently women within London. We are currently focussed on helping local women in the London borough of Havering. Through informal conversations with stakeholders (women within our community) we have developed our 'Help+' online resource hub. We ensure that the women we support are not only recipients of help but are also listened to and understood. Over the past year we have actively engaged with women from diverse backgrounds aged from 18-80+ as well as key members of the local community, including business owners, 'Friends of' groups and local support groups to ensure that our work and future plans have a positive impact on women's wellbeing. The Managing Director has attended many events within our local community to better understand the needs of women through discussions with service users, community leaders and local businesses.
