Creation of a full scale theatre production (GRILLS at Camden People’s Theatre, December 2022) based on our previous 2022 work-in-progress performance; aimed at Camden local & LGBTQIA+/BIPOC audiences. Production explored the significance of archiving Queer history; highlighted hidden local history and significance of the Camden Lesbian Centre and Black Lesbian Group (CLCBLG). Workshops on deep-democracy and decolonising the rehearsal room undertaken with cast and creative teams involved in the performance. Planning and research undertaken into creating an oral history project based on the production, to be made freely available on partner organisations websites in order to widen the projects outreach.
Camden People’s Theatre – Future partnership discussed, agreement to continue fruitful partnership through 2025; oral history project partnership and launch party host venue. Camden Council – Continued support via funding streams and invitation to networking events. Future partnership meetings scheduled.
