COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

EMPOWER TO COOK COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 09255178 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 September 2024

Company activities and impact

Our community kitchen is now open to events and teaching. This we share with Khepera CIC. Our funding from the Rothschild Foundation around food sustainability and food poverty in Bucks came to an end in 2024. However we are part of Good Food Bucks overseen by them connecting with further partnerships locally. We have now developed a county wide project with a more joined up thinking approach to the work we do. Working with significant partner would make a difference.

Consultation with stakeholders

Continue building our network of stakeholders. We are consulting widely with local authority, community representatives as well as other organisations in this sector. Plus, major funders for specific projects. This includes Bucks Council and the Rothschild Foundation. Plus charities, in particular Talkback and corporate partners. Empower to Cooks journey is changing. Our commissioned report of our work is helping us develop a different way forward. Currently ongoing with this planning phase to reshape the social enterprise to suit its current needs.
