Rooting for you Liverpool CIC is a mental health and domestic abuse support organisation. We support individuals and their families with their own mental health journeys and offer support, advice and advocacy for those living with domestic abuse. We do this though a range of activities such as, Coffee mornings, courses, one to one support and school half term and after school activities. We benefit the community by having open access to all, we hold our coffee mornings in a local well used community centre and advertise our half term activities through the HAF portal which is a public domain. Our domestic abuse sessions are open access and we offer specific domestic abuse courses and are currently finalising a play to demonstrate the real life impact of domestic abuse in various life situations.
We class our stakeholders as our volunteers, those who attend our sessions and local organisations we work alongside. We have previously used surveys to ask what support our families/individuals would like and always consult with our families which activities/ sessions they would like to undertake for the following half term. We include the families/individuals in the coffee morning session as we always have and activity be it a special guest speaker or a simple craft, we always encourage involvement and ideas from anyone who has interaction with our service.
