STUDIO WOOD GREEN: GENERAL ACCOUNT OF THE COMPANY'S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT The activities of Studio Wood Green (The Company) are: The hiring out of a Cyclorama studio for shooting short video films, photography, and pop promos. The delivery of short video and film training programmes including editing and lighting for young film makers in the local Wood Green Community and beyond Impact: Such activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Developed skills in video and film productions for young film makers in the community increased skills in media communication, editing and voice over techniques.
THE COMPANY'S STAKEHOLDERS The company's stake holders are aspiring film and video makers, photographers. particularly women from black and minority ethnic communities, young people wanting to develop skills in film and video production, trainee photographers as well as the local authority funding departments, further and higher education partners, local community funded projects, training, and enterprise forums. CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS These stakeholders (Trainees/users/Birkbeck College/Collage Arts) have participated in programme and course development meetings where informal consultation takes place as their views are taken into consideration. Stakeholder feedback on course content and other programme development issues are listened to and acted upon in revision of course content and delivery. In addition, End of Course feedback evaluation takes place on training programmes, open days, workshop discussion events and evaluation days. ACTION ARISING FROM STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS Consultation with studio users, local schools, Birkbeck College and Collage Arts has resulted in changes to course programme which has improved the provision for young people participating in training and employment programmes provided by Studio Wood Green, improving provision..
