Company activities and impact

During the financial year, CAMDER FC C.I.C. has made significant contributions to the well-being and development of the Derby community through a variety of inclusive and impactful initiatives: Improving Physical Health Through regular football training sessions, CAMDER FC has helped improve the fitness levels of Derby residents. These sessions promote active lifestyles and encourage community members to stay physically engaged. Supporting Mental Well-being Weekly Sunday meetings held after training sessions have provided a valuable space for members to unwind, share experiences, and find emotional support. Many participants have reported a reduction in stress and symptoms of depression as a result of these gatherings. Community Meals Food is provided during all training sessions, not only supporting members' nutritional needs but also fostering a sense of community and togetherness. These shared meals strengthen social bonds among members and their families. Empowerment Workshops CAMDER FC organized a series of community empowerment workshops featuring a diverse range of speakers. Topics included: Career development Mental health awareness Linguistic and cultural integration Educational opportunities These sessions were instrumental in raising awareness, boosting confidence, and equipping attendees with practical tools for personal and professional growth. Family Engagement Activities Family Day events have brought together members and their families in a relaxed, festive environment. These gatherings have helped reinforce family ties, promote intergenerational connections, and build a more cohesive community.
