    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives: Plant & machinery 20% Written down value

Company activities and impact

During our first year of operation, THE BRIDGE NOTTS CIC focused on tackling food poverty in the Nottinghamshire area. Key achievements include: Delivered over 30 community cooking workshops teaching practical skills and nutrition awareness. Distributed food parcels and essential supplies to more than 150 households. Partnered with local schools and charities to promote cooking on a budget and healthy eating. Reached over 400 individuals directly through various community initiatives. Our work empowered individuals with life skills, encouraged community engagement, and directly supported those facing food insecurity.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation Methods: We maintained active communication and consultation with stakeholders through: Feedback forms after each workshop and event. Regular updates and engagement through our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thebridgenotts/ Meetings with local partners and charity representatives to align community needs with our services. Informal focus groups with beneficiaries to understand priorities and shape future activities. Stakeholders: Community members who participate in events and activities. Key managing members of the CIC, including: Blair Lawrence-Broughton Rebecca Ann Bones Action Taken: Suggestions from stakeholders were implemented in event planning to ensure broader community participation. Feedback regarding locations, event schedules, and themes was actively incorporated, enhancing the relevance and success of activities.
