Company activities and impact

During the last financial year, Crystal Academy: Aerial Arts and Dance CIC has benefited the community in the following ways: Provided inclusive, confidence-building aerial and dance classes to over 120 young people aged 6–18, with a focus on mental and physical well-being. Delivered subsidised sessions and bursary places to 25 low-income families, ensuring access to performing arts regardless of financial background. Partnered with local schools and youth services to run workshops that supported PE curriculum delivery and promoted active lifestyles. Created freelance employment opportunities for 6 local instructors and support staff, all trained in youth engagement and safeguarding. Hosted 4 community showcase events, enabling young people to perform publicly, build confidence, and bring families and communities together through the arts. Developed specialist aerial sessions for young people with additional needs, helping to improve strength, coordination, and self-esteem in a supportive environment.
