The activity of the company has been to operate and maintain the community hall in the Worcestershire village of Blackwell, so that it can be utilised and enjoyed by those that live in the village and surrounding areas, providing a focal point in the village for people to meet together, the main focal point being a cafe that opens once a week. All of those involved in running the hall and cafe are unpaid volunteers, and any surplus generated is reinvested into the hall.
The stakeholders are effectively the people that live in the village, they are our ‘customers’. Surveys were done at the outset asking what they would like to see take place in the hall and this directed our efforts. Regular ongoing communication takes place via web site, Facebook and in person. The local Methodist circuit are also a stakeholder, as they own the building. The condition of us using their hall is that it be utilised for both community and faith based activities, and this is therefore what happens.
No remuneration was received
