Principal activities of the company

The company runs a grassroots youth football club for children in Kennington, South London. The club is affiliated to the Football Association and plays matches in the Tandridge Youth League.

Company policy on disabled employees

The company has no employees. The company welcomes the involvement and engagement of anybody interested in grassroots football, regardless of disability.

Company activities and impact

Unity FC has provided another year of safe, fun, healthy sport for children aged 5 to 16. We have provided Saturday morning sessions for two hours per week, open to all at a cost of £26 per month (roughly £7 per session).We had league teams at ages Under 7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U15, U16 playing matches on Sundays in the Tandridge Youth Leaguc and offering training a couple of evenings per week after school. League team membership costs £25 per month.It should be noted that if any family cannot afford the requested fees, we will always talk to them about what they can afford and we have never turned anybody away on the basis of cost.We hire local people as coaches and help them to develop their skills and careers in football coaching. We have supported our coaches to qualify in coaching, first aid and safeguarding.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders of Unity FC are - The children playing football with the club and their families.- The coaches who lead teams and take training sessions.- The volunteers in the club who manage logistics and keep it running.We are in constant communication with the familics of our players through attendance at training and matches and through team WhatsApp groups. All famillies can speak to their coach, or team coordinator. They may also contact the Welfare Officer or Club Secretary whenever they need.Coaches and volunteers communicate frequently through WhatsApp groups - there are many groups for different apects of running the club; and we have regular meetings throughout the year.
