Company activities and impact

During the financial year 2023-2024, Unitatem CIC have benefited the community in the following ways: - offering a food parcel service for its service users. - supporting and supplying local food banks. - housing and supporting service users suffering from various issues - mental health, substance misuse, domestic violence, homelessness etc. with the aim of getting them back to independent living.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are service users of Unitatem CIC, as well as local food banks. Service users are given tailored support plans based on individual needs, most of which are facing issues in life, varying from mental health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, homelessness etc. Service users are asked on a weekly basis whether there are any other areas they need additional support in, in order eventually move on to living independently. Local residents and other service users are able to give feedback and if any issues arise, Unitatem CIC is able to act accordingly to resolve any issue or complaint. Local food banks are often consulted when delivering excess food supplies on a daily basis. Whether more or less food is needed.
