| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Going concern |
| During the period ended 31 December 2023, the company made a loss after tax of £260,635 (2023: £135,861) and had net liabilities of £440,459 (2023: £179,824). |
| The company continues to meet its day to day working capital requirements through loans from related parties of £3,365,486 (2023: £2,672,402). Accordingly, the director considers it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis and he does not include any adjustment that would result from withdrawal of support. |
| Government grants |
| Government grants are recognised at the fair value of the asset received or receivable when there is reasonable assurance that the grant conditions will be met and the grants will be received. |
| A grant that specifies performance conditions is recognised in income when the performance conditions are met. Where a grant does not specify performance conditions it is recognised in income when the proceeds are received or receivable. A grant received before the recognition criteria are satisfied is recognised as a liability. |
| Stocks |
| Stock includes properties in the course of construction held with the intention of selling them in the ordinary course of business. Stocks are stated at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell. Cost comprises direct materials and, where applicable, direct labour costs and those overheads that have been incurred in bringing the stocks to their present location and condition. |

| Cash and cash equivalents are basic financial assets and include cash in hand, deposits held at call with banks and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrafts are shown within borrowings in current liabilities. |
