Company activities and impact

At The Inside Out Clothing Project, 2024 has been a year of purposeful growth and community-driven impact. Rooted in communities of those with lived experiences, our work continues to be shaped by the people we serve through storytelling, mentorship, and creative expression. By centering those historically marginalised, we’ve ensured our programs remain responsive, inclusive, and deeply meaningful. Each garment created through our initiative is more than fashion - it’s a story of resilience, identity, and transformation. This year, we expanded our engagement with at-risk youth and individuals within His Majesty’s Prisons, offering design-led training, mentorship, and business development opportunities. These initiatives have provided real alternatives to crime and incarceration, equipping participants with tangible skills and a renewed sense of purpose. Through these programs, we are breaking cycles of exclusion and building tangible pathways toward independence, dignity, and long-term success. Our community-first model continues to evolve, guided by ongoing feedback from participants, partners, and mentors. From integrating digital literacy to launching Rock Up Pop-Up Shops and collaborative events, we’ve created spaces where creativity meets opportunity. These platforms have helped participants connect with industry professionals, generate income, and build sustainable careers. Every item sold directly supports our designers, reinforcing our commitment to economic empowerment and self-sufficiency within every community. Looking ahead, Inside Out is more than just a fashion initiative - it is a growing movement for systemic change. We are not waiting for inclusion; we are building it ourselves, from the ground up. Through our work, we are reclaiming space, amplifying the voices of under privileged and under represented individuals, and investing in the next generation of talent. As we close the year, we do so with pride in our accomplishments and a deep resolve to continue creating a future defined by hope, equity, and opportunity.
