1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Clandon Property Holdings Ltd is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Going concern
During the period ended 31 December 2023, the company made a profit after tax of £9,736 (period ended 29 May 2023: profit after tax £23,754) and had net liabilities of £36,409 (period ended 29 May 2023: net liabilities £46,144).

The company continues to meet its day to day working capital requirements through loans from related parties of £4,111,286 (period ended 29 May 2023: £4,133,751). Accordingly, the director considers it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis and he does not include any adjustments that would result from withdrawal of support.

Stocks
Stock includes properties in the course of construction held with the intention of selling them in the ordinary course of business. Stocks are stated at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell. Cost comprises direct materials and, where applicable, direct labour costs and those overheads that have been incurred in bringing the stocks to their present location and condition.

Equity instruments
Equity instruments issued by the company are recorded at the proceeds received, net of transaction costs. Dividends payable on equity instruments are recognised as liabilities once they are no longer at the discretion of the company.

Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents are basic financial assets and include cash in hand, deposits held at call with banks, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrafts are shown within borrowings in current liabilities.
