During this period, Speak Up! Act Out! created a powerful forum theatre performance with young people, exploring sexual assault, pornography, and teenage relationships. Supported by a Brighton Dome residency, Un/Dressed gave youth a platform to express and challenge real-life issues through theatre. It was performed at Brighton Fringe festival, and gave the opportunity to young people who had just completed a Level 3 in performance, to participate in their first professional job. We participated in a Brighton Soup funding event to bid for support, and make our work more visible to wider communities. We also delivered public training workshops, equipping participants with tools for dialogue and change. Additionally, we began an exciting new partnership with Ben Cave Associates and Milton Keynes City Council, contributing youth perspectives to the new city plan. Our work continues to empower voices, promote education, and inspire action on vital social issues.
