Bassetlaw Christian Heritage (BCH) usually receives funds entirely from grants and donations from organisations and individuals. These are for specific projects relating to the activities around the Pilgrim Churches and similar groups around Bassetlaw, North Nottinghamshire. These also support the necessary costs of running BCH e.g., insurance, website, email hosting Companies House expenses and sundries. Very limited income generation was possible during this period. Unfortunately, the Covid 19 pandemic still had relevance as people were only starting to return to group activities, limiting the opportunities for talk:-. etc. The number or volunteers, in line with many other organisations, was reducing and this remains an issue. The passing of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving has required the focus of activities to be adjusted
The BCH Steering Group, which includes directors and volunteer members, meets regularly online throughout the year to plan activities, and discuss feedback. A group known as the Pilgrim Church; has continued and works in partnership with BCH. This group includes churches in the I3assetlm.v, North Nottinghamshire, and Doncaster, South Yorkshire, areas with connections to the Separatists and their contemporaries. BCH continues lo work with and support the Pilgrims Gallery, part of Bassetlaw Museum in Retford. BCH is a member of Retford Business Forum, and input to its activities, and feedback from them, are included there.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
