Company activities and impact

During the financial year ending 31 March 2025, 3Dees Gems CIC delivered targeted community support over a four-month period, with a focus on alleviating food insecurity among vulnerable children. Throughout this time, we organised 4 monthly food parcel distributions from August to Dec 2024 specifically tailored to meet the needs of children and families facing financial hardship. parcels were packed with nutritious and culturally appropriate items to support children’s health and well-being. Our activities Benefited dozens of families who were not eligible for or had limited access to traditional food banks. Provided consistent monthly support to households under pressure from the rising cost of living. Ensured that children had access to essential food items during a critical time. Although our operational window was brief, the impact was meaningful. Families reported a sense of relief and gratitude, knowing they were supported by a community-focused organisation that recognised their needs.3Dees Gems CIC remains committed to its mission of supporting those in need and plans to scale its operations and extend support to more families in the next financial year.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakholders are Local families and children facing food insecurity. To ensure our services met real community needs, we actively consulted and collaborated with those directly and indirectly impacted by our work. We advertised our services on Nextdoor, a local community platform, to raise awareness and gather informal feedback from residents. We engaged with local community centres, who helped us identify families in need and shared feedback from their networks and also some churches in the area. we also contacted the Citizens Advice Bureau at the civic center in Harrow who assisted us by distributing food vouchers to families referred through their services. The actions Taken Based on Feedback were that we ensured that our monthly food parcels contained child-friendly, culturally appropriate, and nutritious items, based on suggestions from community members. Feedback from centres and voucher partners helped us improve the collection process, making it more discreet and dignified for families. Where possible, we expanded the contents of parcels to include basic household and hygiene items, following community input. This community-informed approach ensured that the support provided was relevant, respectful, and responsive to local needs.
