Sound Ambitions has provided an engaging and educational opportunities for children, young people and families. These include music and arts based lessons, groups, workshops and courses. We have worked with over 150 participants in the past year providing subsidised and often fully funded activities through our local programme, as well as partnership delivery with Mind Waves and the King's Trust. Our key programmes include: - Local Individual and group instrumental tuition services - Themed one off music based workshops for primary and secondary children - Early years song and rhyme classes for children 0-5 and their families - Peer led music and creative skills groups to support mental health for adults -Music and podcasting courses in partnership with King's Trust in Glasgow and Edinburgh
We use a co-production and peer led approach in all of our local and group activities. This means that participants are involved in the design and evaluation of all of our engagement. Our partners at Mind Waves and King's Trust have input into the evolution of our service provision and work with us to carry out feedback consultations with participants. These take the form of group activities and discussions.
