Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

3. Fixed investments

Investments in Subsidiaries: £1,389,146 (2022: £1,389,146). Investments in subsidiaries comprise 73.84% (2022: 73.84%) of the ordinary share capital of CWRE Wind Power Private Limited (CWREWP) and £1,386,400 of capital invested through fully compulsorily convertible debentures (FCCD). The principal activity of CWREWP is the generation and supply of renewable energy and trading in power generation equipment. CWREWP is registered in Mumbai, India. As at 31 March 2023 its generating capacity stood at 4.2MW (2022: 4.2MW). The FCCD attracted interest at a rate of 10.25% and is secured by a 2nd charge over the wind turbine assets. Interest earned but not received by the year-end is included within debtors, as adjusted for foreign exchange rate movements and other provisions.
