Over the last 12 month the Energy Efficiency Association has been working hard to improve collaboration and communications across the energy efficiency and retrofit sectors. We have started to build a Skills and Training Library with information about all the courses related to energy efficiency in the UK. We are working with colleges, Universities and training providers across the whole of the country to bring all the relevent course information into one place. We have been working with our members to: - help address fuel poverty throught the delivery of energy efficiency measures - deliver 3 conferences to help the energy efficiency supply chain deliver Government Grants and Schemens ( we would have delivered 5 conferences but 2 were postponed to next year due to the fact the clashed with the General Election) - engaged with DESNZ and OFGEM to help with the delivery of energy efficiency schemes in England - engaged with EST Scotland to help with the delivery of enegry efficiency schemes in Scotland - provided support assistance to MSPs who asked for the help of our members to solve issues for their constituents - helped funding be released from government for Local Authorities - engaged with the energy sector, local authorities and colleges by speaking at events - increased our newsletter productionand distribution to more people in the industry more often - addressed issues for homeowners who were struggling to have their energy efficiency measures properly installed
We have run many events where we engaged with our stakeholders, but our main event was the Annual General meeting in November where our members were able to discuss the direction of the company and provide the Directors with feedback on what they would like to see the company achieve in the coming year. We have created regional branches of the EEA throughout the UK and we have regional representatives talking to people within their regions about energy efficiency and getting responses from their local community which the feedback into the EEA board. We have carried out an annual survey of the Energy Efficiency sector and sought input from not only our members, but the wider energy efficiency sector. We have been asked to lead a number of stakeholder engagement processes on behalf of DESNZ and other leading organisations within the sector.
There are 2 Directors of the Energy Efficiency Association. 2 Non-Executive Directors have also joined in January 2024 in order to provide additional support. In total the Director's Remuneration was £32,000 for the year, including a generous pension contribution. The Non Executive Director's Remuneration was £15,000 for the year.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
