Year Ending: 31 August 2024

Company activities and impact

1. Oneforty has continued to serve the community of West Harrow the past year through a myriad of different things. We became a pop-up food bank to help tackle food poverty during the pandemic. We provided monthly markets to support small, local independent businesses and to encourage the community to shop local and support small. We started a new Vegan & eco-living market encouraging locals to shop small, reduce their carbon footprint. We have provided free music events encouraging locals to perform. We started monthly table top sales encouraging locals to reduce, reuse and recycle allowing a platform for those without cars to participate. A local artist runs weekly life drawing class from our venue providing locals with affordable & local art classes. We have provided a platform for local artists to showcase their work for free & sell their work all year round in our all year round gallery. We hosted the Harrow Culture Summer Social working with the local council and local art agency where we celebrated the diverse talent within the community involving different groups e.g. local musicians, spoken word, artists and theatre groups. We have provided a space for groups within the community to hire as well as those needing a space to work from. We provide a community cafe where there is the option to 'pay it forward' so that if someone is unable to afford a coffee, it is already paid and the option to socialise is still available to them. 2. We have liased with local scout group and rotary club as well as locals daily and at events.
