Company activities and impact

Ollies Random Acts of Kindness CIC is a mental health-based community interest company, we have been offering a mental health-based online digital Art Group as well as delivering Expert by Experience-based training. We have been developing our Expert by Experience training, which we have begun delivering for free for the benefit of the community. We have been building relationships with mental health professionals and educating them on the importance of lived experience. During the financial year of March 2024-2025, Ollies Random Acts of Kindness has benefited the community by Developing and delivering Expert by Experience workshops to empower people to share their lived experience. Delivered workshops for NHS staff around Lived Experience and the importance of Lived Experience being involved in health care delivery. Building positive relationships with other voluntary organisations and looking at co-production opportunities. All O.R.A.O.K. Directors have received mandatory training and DBS checks. We have attended music events and given mental health peer support. Started a small group of volunteers based in Gloucestershire, who are receiving training and personal development opportunities, and supporting our activities.

Consultation with stakeholders

We offer regular meetings with stakeholder, to discuss the companies’ activities. We request feedback via virtual forms from all young people involved with the project, in order to understand what is working and what isn’t working. We ask for feedback after any session is delivered
