Enabled Education CIC has developed a virtual learning environment (VLE) using MOODLE, which supports self-led and community-based learning by offering access to learning tools and features. -Development of community support and communication tools within MOODLE (VLE) to assist the community and provide better communication and support such as, dedicated helpdesk, newsletter, updates and ‘how to guides’. -Development of MOODLE structure to support community self directed learning such as frameworks, core competencies, curriculums. -Development of resource areas for specific groups / targeted needs - ie SEN, Exam topics, subject areas. -Connecting with external schemes and educational providers to bring access to external education resources to the community. -Competition and challenge participation. Establishing working agreements and building relations with external organisations enabling the community to participate in educational challenges and competitions. Building the supporting functionality within MOODLE, offering, promoting and administering the opportunity for the community to take part. -Wider development of MOODLE tools within the VLE to provide additional support and features to the community in support of self led learning such as notes, boards, H5P interactive learning resources and community driven knowledge collections. -Ongoing continuous development and upgrading of MOODLE technical framework, and company policies. -Ongoing development of future projects. -Fundraising and establishing connections with other charities, provide direct benefits and opportunities to the community. -Launching of qualification level courses. Explore and Bronze Arts award -Launching new resources and discount opportunities. -Direct engagement with Home Educating Community via Minecraft Education initiatives -Development of courses and structure of the web site to support more direct engagement -Extending reach of engagement with the Home Ed community with initiatives such as UNIDAYS.
