Freehold Property

In accordance with FRS105, freehold and long-leasehold property is stated at cost less accumulated depreciation and impairment charges. Depreciation is calculated such that the depreciable amount of freehold and long leasehold property, being cost of acquisition less estimated recoverable value, is written off to the profit and loss account on a systematic basis over the expected useful life of the property.

 

Due to the estimated residual value of the property being not significantly less than the cost of acquisition; and the estimated useful life being not less than 50 years from the date of these financial statements, the depreciable amount of the property is negligible. Consequently no depreciation charge is recognised in the year in relation to the company's freehold/long-leasehold property.

Creditors due after more than one year

Creditors falling due after more than one year includes an aggregate amount due to the directors of the company of £427,775. The directors introduced these amounts into the company by way of loan in order to provide it with the funds required to complete the purchase of the freehold/long-leasehold property, and to fund the acquisition of other investment assets now held by the company.

 

The loans from directors are interest free and carry no set repayment terms. However, the directors will not seek any repayment of these loans unless surplus cash is held by the company, after meeting obligations to any third party creditors, and from which partial repayments can then be made.

 

The loans are therefore classified as liabilities due after more than one year.

Foremost Green Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Foremost House, Radford Way, Billericay, Essex, CM12 0BT.

For the year ended 31 October 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime', and have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true
