Company activities and impact

Athac continues to deliver a range of enrichment activities and support services to children, young people and families including online art sessions, wellbeing sessions, trips out, young adult day activities and information on family day and respite services. Children and young people have received opportunities to access family sensory sessions, monthly family trips and holiday respite family breaks. The services for young adults with disabilities continue to provide quality day opportunities using creativity activities including one to one mentoring workshops and cultural learning trips out. We have two young adults who regularly volunteer at a local community venue assisting with preparation and the delivery of group activities. Athac leads the SEND and Disability locality working group for all ages which bring together cross sector organisations from both statutory and volunteering organisations. We are building on the learning as we work in partnership with local family hubs and other community organisations.
