Our organisation has actively worked to empower and support young females aged 16-25 by offering a range of one-to-one tailored talk sessions that include counselling, mentoring, and coaching. These tailored sessions have provided a safe space for personal development, allowing participants to gain confidence, enhance their communication skills, and make informed choices about their futures. In addition to individual support, we have extended our services to women in domestic abuse refuges, providing essential resources and emotional support. Our commitment to helping these individuals is aimed at supporting their recovery and reintegration into society. Furthermore, recognising the importance of holistic well-being, we have integrated group workshops and wellness activities such as dance and yoga into our program. These activities are designed to promote physical health, emotional healing, and overall wellness, creating a supportive community where participants can thrive. Community Benefits: The impact of our initiatives has been profound, by offering individual sessions, we have empowered young women to express themselves, develop resilience, and build a sense of agency in their lives. Participants have reported increased self-esteem and improved mental health. The workshops have not only facilitated emotional healing but have also equipped these women with vital skills necessary for their independence and future success. The well-being activities, including dance and yoga, have fostered connections among participants, creating a sense of community and solidarity. These sessions have not only enhanced physical health but have also alleviated stress and anxiety, contributing to a more emotionally resilient population. By empowering women and supporting those in vulnerable situations, we have contributed to building a more resilient, healthy, and supportive environment. We remain committed to enhancing our programs to further address the evolving needs of our community and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Director Consultation: Delia D’Aguilar : Delia has been instrumental in enhancing our programs through her active engagement in meetings. Additionally, she plays a key role in outreach efforts, helping to raise awareness about our services and the positive impact we have on the community. Jade Burdett: Jade provides valuable contributions to the structure of vulnerable needs generating ideas for high-impact subjects that address common challenges faced by women. Jade’s role in directing the structure of our tailored one-to-one sessions ensures that clients receive personalised support that meets their unique needs.
