The company began the follow-up work relating to the pilot of the Our Essence program in a remote Quechua school in Pampallacta, Peru. The school required further booklets which were printed. The stories written by the children were scanned and uploaded. The teachers found that the children were more motivated to write in Spanish about their Quechua festivals and traditions. This indicates that the children were beginning to have more pride in their culture. Further work is needed to measure literacy outcomes and evaluate the program.
The follow-up was conducted with the principal and teachers of the school via phone calls and emails. Feedback regarding the implementation of the program was sought and positive feedback was received.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
