  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The turnover shown in the profit and loss account represents revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied during the period, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives: Fixtures & fittings 33.33% on cost Computer equipment 33.33% on cost

    Other accounting policies

    Basis of preparation The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets. Presentation currency The accounts are presented in £ sterling

Company activities and impact

The company hosted an online sustainable fashion platform along with events for start-ups, small businesses locally, nationally, and internationally. These events open doors to local small businesses in the community and wider community to take part by attending, supporting and purchasing items and learning more about fashion, how to shop smarter and work at slowing down on their consumption, throwing away less and becoming more sustainable in everyday life. During the financial year 2023-2024, the company has had to change the way it works. Also due to financial struggles on small businesses and people not spending it has lost a lot of clients and as a result the income has dwindled. The company has hosted 3 events during this tax year.
