During the financial year, Involve 2 Evolve CIC delivered a range of impactful community-focused activities. Our Stronger Together Food Bank supported over 300 local families, offering essential food packages and toiletries to those most in need, especially during the cost-of-living crisis. We ran weekly community outreach sessions at Peabody Hill, which saw an increase in attendance from residents across surrounding estates. Due to demand, our morning sessions became the primary focus, as food supplies were depleted before afternoon sessions could begin. Additionally, we used funds raised through two small crowdfunding campaigns to support volunteer costs and transport, ensuring consistent delivery. Our initiatives promoted social inclusion, reduced food poverty, and provided a safe and supportive space for vulnerable individuals. The project has strengthened community ties and laid the foundation for future development work in the area.
