Company activities and impact

Editors for Impact is an organisation that helps to provide creative content services for small-scale charities and other not-for-profit organisations. Our research has highlighted that small charities face challenges in allocating money and time to producing high quality content (e.g, videos, graphics, websites) to reflect their work and impact. We relieve these burdens by connecting volunteers with creative skills to charities to produce creative projects. By relieving these burdens, we allow charities to focus their resources on delivering their mission and maximising their impact. From October 2023 to September 2024, Editors for Impact completed projects for 7 different charities serving various social causes, including education, environmental conservation, and mental health support. During this period, we also conducted a review of our organisation's effectiveness and long-term sustainability.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are the small-scale charities that we provide content creation services for, and the volunteers who offer such services, as well as the volunteers who form the management team to help run our organisation. We have conducted a review of the organisation's effectiveness and long-term sustainability during this period. This includes surveying our management team volunteers, as well as our volunteer editors and charity partners, on areas for improvement for the organisation's different processes.
