The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 May 2025

Principal activities of the company

01 June 2024 to 31st May 2025 Directors Report The Cheveley Community Group CIC ran events and activities open to all members of the community. These included a book club, bingo evenings, talks, local history exhibition and talk, Wecare cafe, afternoon teas and farmers markets. The money from events such as the farmers markets that generated a surplus, were used to subsidise events, such as the afternoon teas, CPR training course, fraud and cybercrime awareness presentation and presents for children at the Christmas farmers market, that required funding. The group is able to run because of the volunteers and the support of the community. Phil Nutt June 2025

We gave donations to: East Anglia children's Hospice £50 East of England Ambulance Service

Company activities and impact

We (Santa) gave children Christmas presents at the Christmas Farmers Market. We have arranged and paid for 4 Farmers Markets. We have held 2 Bingo Evenings, with donations to charities. We arranged and paid for a CPR training session and given a donation to the East Ambulance Service. We arranged and paid for a talk on Cyber Fraud. We have arranged 3 Afternoon teas. We have run 2 Wecare cafes, when people can come and chat and have tea/coffee and biscuits. If any one has anything that needs repairing we try to do that or give advice. We have organised and paid for photograph exhibitions and a talk on the history of Cheveley. We run a Book Club.

Consultation with stakeholders

We talk to the Parish Council, the local church fundraising committee members and Somerset Court sheltered accommodation.
