The company operates the Horspath Road Athletics Track in Oxford, offering athletics and fitness activities to the residents of Oxford and Oxfordshire. The Company was formed in 2019 shortly after it had signed a 30-year lease over the property with Oxford City Council. The lease gives the company responsibility for managing and operating the track, with all its attendant costs and responsibilities. During the year 2023-24 the company has benefited the community in the following ways:- over 12,000 individual training sessions took place, more than 5000 hours of volunteering took place, and the track was open to the public for 360 days of the year. 25 local schools used the track for sports days and for recording GCSE exam practicals, several disability charities have used the track for regular exercise sessions. The company has one part-time employee and over 70 volunteer members, and also offers casual employment to local school-age pupils
The company is represented at local stakeholder group meetings organised by Oxford City Council. The company has a website, social media sites and a regular newsletter by means of which it maintains communication with its stakeholders.
