COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

ME AND MY THERAPY C.I.C.

Company Number: 12860711 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 September 2024

Company activities and impact

Me and My Therapy CIC have created resources to support children and families in managing grief and bereavement, delivering training and workshops around bereavement and general wellbeing, and has engaged with existing community groups across Stockport and Salford.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have engaged with Schools, local community groups, hospices, community and acute NHS services and other social enterprises across the region to assess need and map existing services. We have also completed research with parents/ carers and professionals, through a questionnaire which demonstrated that there is a lack of confidence in supporting bereaved children around topics such as emotions, memories, and narrative. This has led to us developing a model of free workshops for parents/carers which we pitched to a community of social enterprises in Stockport and a model of staff training for schools, healthcare and community groups which is paid for, and organisations have used specific funding to engage in this training. The research also highlighted that 98% of those involved in the study would find a toolkit of resources and activities helpful in supporting bereaved children.

Directors' remuneration

In the year Sarah Smith Invoiced the Company for services as an External Consultant to the value of £1,260. Callie Harrop Invoiced the Company for services as an External Consultant to the Value of £1,085. No Dividends were declared in the Year. There is an outstanding Directors Loan repayable to Callie Harrop of £932.
