SCGCIC has conducted £2000 of project work over the period targeted at historical, and community landscape gardening projects. Its main activity, that of creating a horticultural training centre, is on hold pending approval by the site landlord. It is anticipated that activity will ramp up next year.
An outreach event was organised with South East London Salon in December 2023 and the organisation has refined its output and business plan accordingly. The main purpose of the CIC remains in a state of hibernation pending the agreement with the developers who are obliged to provide finance and premises under the terms o the associated section 106 agreement. SCGCIC has met with the developers and Lewisham Council several times during this period.
