During the last year Sensory Space cic has provided weekly sensory sessions for children with additional needs aged 0-18 yrs. Providing a unique sensory experience enhancing and promoting the development of the senses of sight, touch, hearing and smell. Sensory Space has also held baby sensory 3 times a week for young babies aged 0-13 months also sessions for 14 months to 3 years (up to 4 yrs with an SEN) weekly. Twice weekly 0-3 yrs Sensory play sessions. We have provided 5 sessions a week for 1 to 1 sessions for disabled young people not in school. We have also taken many referrals from health care professionals for free places for those who need support and are not in a position to afford to pay. We have supplied and distributed over 150 care packs, fod packs and clothing vouchers to parents/carers of disabled children.
Our stakeholders are our service users including parents/ carers and children. We consult with them regularly and our service and what we provide are shaped by them. We ask for feedback and consult with parents/carers monthly so we can continue to provide a high quality service to our session users.
