Chispa is a youth-led organisation that acts as a catalyst to enable young people's potential in Gloucester. We make it an exciting place where young people thrive by: - Facilitating young voices to influence change - Enabling youth-led activities/opportunities/programmes/projects and spaces - Developing youth leadership.
Stakeholders include: young people aged 14–35; peer-researchers, project participants, youth leaders and local community members, Gloucester City Council, The Music Works, Gloucester Universal Youth Services, Gloucester Guildhall, Gloucester Culture Trust, Gloucester City Homes, Active Gloucester-shire, NHS Consultation methods: Youth-led research (“Full Tilt”) informed design of Bar Park, public space use, and program-ming Youth leadership, young people involved at every stage of decision making as the Youth Lead-ership Team Youth-led programming and project development ensures participant-driven, relevant and re-sponsive content Continuous dialogue and consultation at The Bar Park, to ensure a diverse range of voices is heard and programmes can be responsive to emerging needs. Strong partnership working to ensure cross referencing, no duplication and more joined up working Actions taken: Bar Park equipped based on young people's needs. Adapting and improving programmes and projects based on feedback and emerging needs Sharing understandings with partners across the city to ensure impact and legacy Developing new programmes and projects based on needs expressed in consultations Fundraising based on specific consultation outcomes Digital content developed to represent youth voice for partners and service development
