The core mission of Life Balance Therapy IC is to provide mental and physical health support, information, and resources to individuals and groups in the Devon community. This would include activities including: Outreach programs: The CIC actively engages with local health and wellbeing organisations to raise awareness about mental health and long term illness, provide support and information, and offer referrals. Counselling and Therapy: The CIC provides personalised assessment of function, therapy and rehabilitation services to individuals. This supports those living with mental health concerns, chronic health conditions, and physical and cognitive disabilities, and focuses on overcoming barriers to the engagement and participation in activities of self-care, productivity and leisure. Group Meetings: The CIC supports groups offered to individuals who are experiencing challenges to their wellbeing, and promote opportunities for social connection and peer support. Partnerships: The CIC fosters collaborations with other wellbeing services locally to work in partnership to support those in need of support.
The CIC actively engages with its stakeholders, including those using the service, their families, and other community organisations. This includes surveys, interview, and written feedback requests which gather insights and address concerns. The CIC demonstrates a commitment to incorporating feedback into its activities to ensure they are responsive to the needs of the community.
