The company runs training for professionals working with vulnerable and / or traumatised clients. During this period Claiming Space provided regular reflective practice and training for individuals from more than 20 organisations that provide legal advice in the social justice and legal aid sectors.
Consultation was predominantly conducted by the way of brief questionnaires at the conclusion of each block of work for a client. This feedback was reflected on during the design and preparation of training and support packages. Where resources allow, we also provide bespoke packages for clients designed in consultation with employers and employees. Claiming space also continues to work with partners in the sector (predominantly membership bodies for legal aid practitioners) who are able to request training or talks on specific issues of interest to their members.
