The director considers that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.
The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the statement of comprehensive income in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.
The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the board and were signed on its behalf on 27 June 2025.

Bolt Asset Management Limited is a private limited liability company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 5 Elstree Gate, Elstree Way, Borehamwood WD6 1JD.
The principal activity of the Company was that of asset management. The Company ceased trading during the current financial year.
The Company's functional and presentational currency is £ Sterling.
2.Accounting policies

Basis of preparation of financial statements
|
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland' and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.
The following principal accounting policies have been applied:
The Company ceased trading during the year and the director do not intend to resume trading in future periods.
Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a break up basis, where appropriate, writing down the Company's assets to net realisable value. Provision has also been made for any onerous contractual commitments at the reporting date. The financial statements do not include any provision for the future costs of terminating the business of the Company except to the extent that such were committed at the reporting date.

Exemption from preparing consolidated financial statements
|
The Company, and the Group headed by it, qualify as small as set out in section 383 of the Companies Act 2006 and the parent and Group are considered eligible for the exemption to prepare consolidated accounts.
Turnover comprises fees receivable in respect of asset management services supplied during the year, exclusive of Value Added Tax, which are recognised in the period in which they have been provided or, if earlier, at the point at which it the Company is contractually entitled to the income.
Unbilled revenue is included within debtors as accrued income. Amounts billed on account in excess of the amounts recognised as revenue are included in creditors as deferred income.
Investments in subsidiaries are measured at cost less accumulated impairment.
Short term debtors are measured at the transaction price.

Short-term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method.
Interim equity dividends are recognised when paid. Final equity dividends are recognised when approved by the shareholders at an annual general meeting.
Defined contribution pension plan
The Company contributes to a defined contribution plan for its employees. A defined contribution plan is a pension plan under which the Company pays fixed contributions into a separate entity. Once the contributions have been paid the Company has no further payment obligations.
The contributions are recognised as an expense in profit or loss when they fall due. Amounts not paid are shown in accruals as a liability in the Statement of Financial Position. The assets of the plan are held separately from the Company in independently administered funds.
All borrowing costs are recognised in profit or loss in the year in which they are incurred.
Tax is recognised in profit or loss except that a charge attributable to an item of income and expense recognised as other comprehensive income or to an item recognised directly in equity is also recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.
The current income tax charge is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date in the countries where the Company operates and generates income.

The average monthly number of employees, including directors, during the year was 1 (2023 - 15).

Transactions with directors
|
At the reporting date, the Company was owed £45,086 by (2023 - £50,343 owed to) a director of the Company. Interest amounting to £1,600 (2023 - £Nil) has been charged at the official HMRC rate. The loan has been repaid in full since the reporting date.

Related party transactions
|
|
The Company has taken advantage of the exemption under FRS102 33. 1A Related Party Disclosures not to disclose transactions entered into between two or more members of a group, provided that any subsidiary undertaking which is a party to the transaction is wholly owned by a member of that group.
|
With effect from 16 February 2024, the Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Bluestone Holdings Limited, a company registered in Channel Islands, which the director regards as the ultimate parent company.
