The director declared dividends of £7,000 during the year, in the belief that adequate distributable reserves were then available, from which to make the distribution. |
As shown by the financial statements, the dividends were in breach of Section 830 of the Companies Act 2006, albeit inadvertently. No further dividends will be declared until distributable reserves are once again available. |
4. | GOING CONCERN |
The financial statements show that at 30 September 2024 the company has a deficiency of net assets amounting to £13,608 (2023 - £2,425). The continuation of the company's activities is dependent on the continued support of its director, which is forthcoming. The financial statements are therefore drawn up under the historical cost convention and on a going concern basis. |

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Garty Properties Ltd for the year ended 30 September 2024 which comprise the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |
