The company are based in a building shared with another community company, a charity called Women's Community Matters. Sharing a space and renting space from them to put on sessions and events has made us visible to a greater part of the local community. A shared project on setting up a community venue in partnership with WCM has seen us welcome a wider audience to our live events. Musically we have been able to recruit more female artists, which was one of our targets. We have also enabled older artists to flourish, and both of these factors have been visible in the audiences we attract: more females, more older people, more families. We continue to serve the community by supplying locally-created music to live venues, festivals, events and radio stations.
