Summary-Church Benefits to the Community of Dundee Overview Over the past 14 months, CCC Dundee Parish (Oba Ile Ileri, God’s Promise Land) has made significant contributions to the Dundee community as both a religious and community based church. Key Contributions Support for New Residents-Provided emotional and physical support to help newcomers settle in Dundee. Financial Assistance-Offered cash aid and foodstuffs to individuals and families in distress. Community Partnerships- Collaborated with Fairfield Community Food Bank, Robertson Tayside Construction, and Evagreen Professional Services Ltd to help members gain job experience. Domestic Abuse Support-Intervened and supported victims of domestic abuse and marital issues. Talent Development-Created opportunities for individuals to express and develop talents (e.g. music, public speaking). Tourism Facilitation-Provided a safe environment for African visitors from across the UK to explore Dundee.Children’s Development- Conducted extra-curricular lessons for children aged 1–10, focusing on faith, bonding, and fun. Employment Preparation- Offered one-on-one career sessions, including attestation letters for job seekers. Voluntary Employment- Employed three qualified Nigerians to teach Christian doctrines weekly. Religious Training-Ran a 5-week Christian and religious studies seminar for 15 members. Faith Integration-Welcomed and baptized new believers who relocated to Dundee. Future Plans The church aims to deepen connections with local businesses and community groups to strengthen relationships and further promote Dundee’s cultural integration.
