The Next Step Housing CIC is a community focused social enterprise supporting local residents through the provision and management of affordable and supported housing. Core Activities: - Property & Tenancy Management: We manage residential properties, including tenancy support and sustainment services, helping tenants secure and maintain stable homes. Our services include repairs, maintenance coordination, and compliance with housing standards to ensure safe and habitable dwellings. - Community Outreach & Support: Beyond housing, we actively engage with residents particularly those facing housing insecurity or complex needs to build trust and resilience. This includes outreach programmes, guidance on household management, and connecting individuals with wider support networks. Social Impact: - Providing Secure Housing for individuals and families who may otherwise struggle to find af-fordable and supported accommodation. - Enhancing Well being by offering a structured pathway from homelessness or unstable housing to sustained tenancy, increasing independence and quality of life. - Supporting Vulnerable Groups, including people with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, or those recently transitioned from homelessness, by delivering tailored tenancy sustainment and emotional support. - Strengthening Local Communities: By maintaining high-quality housing and tenancy services, we foster safer, more cohesive neighbourhoods and alleviate burden on statutory services.
