3. OTHER FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS

On the 2nd September 2019 the directors made the decision that to maximize the economic return from the underlying property held in Sheffield that the property would be developed out by the company itself. As such the underlying property has been transferred from fixed assets to stock on the 2nd September 2019.

The net book value of the property (£1,106,726) was felt by the directors to be a fair reflection of the value of the property at that time and was therefore the value used for the transfer to stock.

The directors do however continue to look for other investment led opportunities as they are of the view that given their long track record of working in the property sector and maximizing property led returns that other investment led opportunities may well present themselves albeit for the next few years the development out and on-sale of the Sheffield site is likely to be the priority and , hopefully, a trading success.

The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 30 September 2024.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2024 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
