Y Plant Affricanaidd is dedicated to enhancing the safety of African families by providing crucial Child Protection Awareness programme. Our work is concentrated on sharing comprehensive information about the child protection laws in the UK, emphasizing their significance, and educating families on how to adhere to these laws. A crucial element of Y Plant Affricanaidd's programme is the dissemination of information about child protection laws in the UK. Understanding that these laws may differ from those in their home countries, the organisation ensures that African families are informed about the legal expectations and requirements in the UK. This knowledge enables families to protect their children effectively and also facilitates their successful integration into the community. Y Plant Affricanaidd focuses on providing tailored parenting courses for African families in the UK. Recognising the unique challenges these families may face while raising their children in a culturally diverse society, Y Plant Affricanaidd has designed these courses to bridge knowledge gaps and empower parents. Y Plant Affricanaidd facilitates community engagement through a diverse range of activities, from cultural events to support groups and community meetings. These initiatives foster a strong sense of community, mutual respect, promote cultural exchange, and provide crucial support mechanisms for African families in Wales.
Y Plant Affricanaidd CIC has four key stakeholder groups: - African Families in Wales. - African Families Interested in Fostering Services. - Health, Social Care, and Education Professionals. - African Communities and Individuals. As part of our annual report, Y Plant Affricanaidd CIC has actively engaged with our key stakeholders through training sessions and meetings.
