In the last 12 months the company has set up a weekly singing group, the sing and smile chorus, that specifically targets people who struggle with stress, anxiety and depression, or poor mental health., The group attracts between 12 and 20 members a week, after being surveyed 100% of attendees said they felt better after a singing session. We have also run 4 come and sing in a day events, which attract between 30-50 attendees. We have completed training in singing for the brain and singing to support new parents, with a view to setting up these new groups in June and September. Members of our community have benefited by having an affordable place to come and sing, reduce symptoms, improve well being and social inclusion.
The company stakeholders are the people who attend our weekly singing groups and occasional events. We gather feedback informally in conversation and formally with a Bi annual questionnaire and a general feedback form out at every event. We have, as a result of feedback, made our sessions slightly longer, and provided fruit as an option during our refreshment break.
Directors have been paid remuneration totalling £6280 for their services
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
