Company activities and impact

Training and education – training events in different areas of special educational needs. Primarily Selective Mutism. Benefiting the community by sharing knowledge and skills on how to help children with these needs and diagnoses. Advocacy and Advice Service – Providing advice and guidance to help parents better understand their children’s difficulties and helping them learn to manage challenging behaviour. Advocacy support to parents dealing with local authorities and schools, guiding them on law and guidance in the area of SEND. Social support groups for children who are unable to attend school due to their SEND needs. Supporting a community of children who would ordinarily become isolated without social interaction.

Consultation with stakeholders

Delegates who have attended training courses have been asked to complete feedback forms. These forms have been used to guide future training to ensure it remains suitable and relevant. Parents of children at support groups have been verbally consulted on what would be most useful for them and our activities have been adapted accordingly
