The company runs an online magazine for the micro:bit community, a small microcontroller board used in schools and by makers to enable digital making and computer science for all. We provide an online community space for members of the micro:bit community to share their projects, ideas and products for the micro:bit. The magazine is fully written by the members of the community as well as edited/produced by members of the community too. It's provided a platform for people of all ages to engage with others and also gain ideas for their own projects. The magazine started off as a print/digital PDF format which was released every 3-4 months. However, the decision was made a few years ago to go completely online. This resulted in a loss of revenue due to discontinuing the print edition and lack of community article submissions which means that content isn't published regularly. There is currently also a lack of volunteer time to publish the magazine. Unfortunately little progress has been made to get the magazine back up and running again due to the above reasoning.
The company's stakeholders are members of the micro:bit community. The magazine is produced by those members. Directors engage with stakeholders via social media and in-person events.
No remuneration was received
