Company activities and impact

Unmasked Neurodiversity Network CIC has continued to grow in its mission to empower neurodivergent adults and families across East Leeds and wider West Yorkshire. Over the past financial year, we have established a welcoming, neurodivergent-led hub offering accessible support in a relaxed, stigma-free environment. Key activities have included: Running regular support groups focused on ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD, offering peer support and a safe space for reflection and community connection. Delivering funded and low-cost one-to-one counselling services led by qualified and trainee neurodivergent counsellors. Piloting new services such as the ADHD, which respond directly to unmet community needs. Hosting creative, educational and mental health-focused workshops and cafes for neurodivergent adults, parents, and carers. Collaborating with local partners and professionals to ensure inclusive, trauma-informed outreach. Our services have supported individuals navigating late diagnosis, emotional dysregulation, workplace difficulties, addiction recovery, parenting challenges, and social isolation. We have received positive feedback from service users, families, and professionals, reinforcing the importance of our community-led approach. Our work contributes directly to improving mental health outcomes, reducing isolation, and increasing self-understanding for neurodivergent people.

Consultation with stakeholders

Unmasked Neurodiversity Network CIC is committed to working collaboratively with the community we serve. Over the past year, we have consulted stakeholders through: Feedback forms and surveys following counselling sessions, support groups, and events. Ongoing conversations within our online community platforms and social media channels, which include dedicated Facebook and Instagram groups for ND adults. Co-creating projects based on feedback from service users, such as the launch of NeuroSober and our Access to Work advice service. Receiving input from local councillors, voluntary sector partners, and professionals including social workers, GPs and educators. Stakeholder feedback consistently informs service planning, accessibility improvements, and outreach priorities. This collaborative, lived-experience approach ensures our work remains relevant, safe, and genuinely supportive.
