COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

VIDA ACTIVE CLUB CIC

Company Number: 11975513 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 May 2025

Company activities and impact

Over the course of the year, the organization facilitated more than 500 ‘Exercise & Socialize’ sessions for older adults, alongside 48 dedicated social events. These initiatives have made a meaningful difference in the lives of participating seniors helping them become fitter, healthier, and more socially engaged. Participants have reported improved strength, greater independence in daily activities, reduced pain, and enhanced mobility. Importantly, many have also expressed increased confidence and a renewed sense of purpose. Beyond physical benefits, the programme has helped reduce social isolation. Many attendees have formed lasting friendships and now feel they have a support network someone to turn to in times of need. These outcomes contribute to alleviating pressure on both the NHS and family caregivers. Additionally, Vida Active ran over 800 fitness classes specifically for women, creating an inclusive, safe, and non-judgmental environment for women of all backgrounds to engage in physical activity. This has been particularly impactful for Muslim women and those with low self-esteem or limited access to women-only exercise spaces, offering both health benefits and a sense of belonging.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our primary stakeholders are older adults and women within our community. We actively seek and value their feedback on a regular basis, using it to shape and improve our programmes. Our aim is to ensure that the classes and activities we provide are both relevant to their interests and genuinely beneficial to their health and wellbeing.

Directors' remuneration

A total of £9,100.00 was paid to directors during the year in respect of qualifying services
