Zen Laughter CIC delivers in-person and online workshops integrating laughter yoga, breathing techniques, and simple mindfulness practices to reduce stress, enhance mental wellbeing, and tackle loneliness. Through these workshops, Zen Laughter CIC has supported diverse and often marginalised communities to release emotional tension, reconnect with joy, and build emotional resilience. During the financial year 2024-2025 Zen Laughter CIC has benefited the community in the following ways: Delivering workshops for family and mental health carers peer support group Delivering workshops for students and staff for mental health awareness week
Zen Laughter CIC recognises staff, students, carers, community partners, and social prescribing projects as key stakeholders. We actively seek their input through post-session evaluation forms using Google Forms and through attending online social prescribing networking meetings and local voluntary community sector forums. Based on feedback received, we continue to tailor our sessions to prioritise improving mental health, reducing stress and anxiety. We also have identified new area needs such as reducing anxiety and stress in students in further education and improving student engagement. Continue to network with social prescribing projects and community initiatives in Lambeth Borough
