| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts. |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The presentation currency is Sterling (£). |
| Financial reporting standard 102 - reduced disclosure exemptions |
| The company has taken advantage of the following disclosure in preparing these financial statements, as permitted by FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland': |
| - the requirements of Section 7 Statement of Cash Flows. |
| Turnover |
| Revenue described as turnover in the financial statements comprises the value of goods and services net of VAT provided to customers during the year. |
| Turnover includes amounts recoverable on long term contracts. Such amounts represent the estimated value at selling price of uncompleted assignments at the financial year end. Certain assignments are subject to agreement of price on completion. In cases where directors are of the opinion that full value for the work done will not be realised, provision is made to reduce the value to the expected realisable value. |

| 9. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
| Berkeley Foundation Limited was funded by long term loans from the Members. The loan by Mr P Cunningham is secured by a fixed and floating charge over all property and undertakings of the company. |
| The accounts include a loan to one of the Members totalling £15,426. |
| Included in administrative expenses are fees of £12,000 paid to Ms Blackman, a director and consultancy fees of £10,000 paid to P Cunningham (deceased). |
