Between September 2023 and September 2024, LPC Music Photography Works CIC: Provided affordable DJing, music, and photography services across South Yorkshire, focusing on low-income, disabled, and socially excluded communities. Delivered discounted or free mobile photo booth and DJ services at community events, including birthdays, weddings, youth events, and inclusive celebrations. Helped families facing hardship by offering services that made events more memorable and inclusive. Used personal savings and benefit income to keep the organisation going, while building connections for future community projects. Created new training opportunities in DJing, sound systems, and photo booth use to help local people gain skills and confidence. All activities were delivered without fixed premises, using mobile services to reach people where they are.
Stakeholders included Local families, disabled individuals, event organisers, community groups, and attendees at local events where LPC Music Photography Works CIC provided mobile photo booth services. How they were consulted Feedback was gathered informally through conversations at events, messages on social media (especially Facebook and WhatsApp), and verbal comments after using the 360 or selfie photo booths. Actions taken in response We offered mobile photo booth packages at reduced or no cost for families experiencing hardship or isolation. Based on feedback, we also adapted our booths to be more accessible, including for people with disabilities.
No remuneration was received
LPC Music Photography Works CIC provided free or heavily discounted DJ and mobile photo booth services at community events. These were offered to support low-income families, disabled individuals, and socially excluded groups who could not otherwise afford them. No physical assets (e.g. booths, speakers, or vehicles) were permanently transferred – all equipment remains owned by the company or its founder. These services were provided as part of our social mission and did not involve full commercial payment (“full consideration”).
