MOUNT PLEASANT PARK FC CIC

Company Number: 14362820 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 September 2024

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Mount Pleasant Park FC continued to provide inclusive, community-focused football sessions that are open to people of all backgrounds, genders, abilities and experiences. Weekly matches and training sessions were held throughout the year, offering a safe and welcoming space for social connection, physical activity, and mutual support. Our activities specifically benefited groups often underrepresented or excluded from mainstream football environments, including women, non-binary and trans people, people of colour, migrants, and those with limited access to organised sport due to financial or social barriers. With an average of 36.79% of participants unable to pay supported each session. In addition to regular sessions, we organised and participated in tournaments and events that raised funds and awareness. Our summer tournament this year raised £525 for FURD and Cooperation Sheffield. As a club we also participated in our first tournament abroad - giving our players from the community a chance to experience football abroad for the first time.
