Company activities and impact

The organisation creates and delivers Black History Month programmes and other cultural events for Black African and Caribbean communities. For Black History Month, Blackstory Partnership CIC -designed and produced the Birmingham black history month marketing and communications brochure Blackstory Partnership is coordinating its 10th year in producing Black History Month brochure 2025. The brochure will be available in hard copy and online digital format. The organisation works with local communities allowing them a platform to promote an event, activity or exhibition in the West Midlands during October - their ads appear in the listings of the brochure which has a reach of over 4000. In previous years Birmingham City Council commissioned the production of Birmingham Black History month brochure and launch event, however this commission is no longer available.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are residents from the African and Caribbean communities in the West Midlands. The Directors, with over 20 years’ experience in creative arts - have developed a business model that aims to create opportunities for the development of skills and talent in performing arts and create a cultural workforce, that can build sustainable careers in mainstream arts organisations and groups.
