Principal Activities The principal activity of the company during the year continued to be the operation and management of a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) academy. The company offers BJJ training to individuals of all ages and skill levels, including: Recreational and competitive BJJ training sessions Kids, teens, and adults classes Private coaching Hosting and attending local and national BJJ competitions Promoting physical fitness, discipline, and self-defense skills within the community We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and disciplined training environment for all members. 3. Business Review During the year under review, the club saw continued membership growth, an increase in class attendance, and improved engagement in competitions and seminars. Key highlights include: Hosting 3 in-house seminars with guest black belts Participating in regional and national tournaments Expanding the kids program with approximately 50% growth in enrollment Implementing a new digital membership and booking system to improve customer experience The club has maintained a strong community presence and continues to build its reputation as a leading BJJ academy in the area. 4. Financial Review The company maintained a positive financial position during the year, with increased revenue from memberships. Costs were carefully managed, with key investments made in new mats, uniforms (Gis), and facility maintenance. A breakdown is provided in the financial statements. 5. Future Developments Looking ahead, the directors intend to: Increase marketing efforts to reach new demographics Introduce new classes including women-only and self-defence workshops 6. Directors’ Responsibilities The directors are responsible for preparing the Director’s Report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company and of the profit or loss for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the directors are required to: Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business The directors are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and taking reasonable steps to prevent and detect fraud and other irregularities. 7. In December 24 we raised £875 for Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas along with toy donations Christopher Gawn East Antrim Martial Arts

Political and charitable donations

We raised £875 for Mission Christmas Cash for kids. We hope to increase this amount this coming Christmas. We are always looking for new charities to donate to.

Company activities and impact

We are an amateur martial arts club in the town centre of Larne. This is handy for those who can't drive and have to walk. We are the cheapest rates for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu out of all of the surrounding towns making it affordable for everyone and we offer concessionary prices to those who need it. People from all backgrounds can join our team without bias or prejudice. We offer classes for people 5 years old and up.
