  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises rental income earned from properties owned by the company during the financial period. Rental income is recognized on a straight-line basis over the term of the lease or tenancy agreement, in accordance with the substance of the arrangement and when the amount of income can be measured reliably. Income is recognized from the point at which the tenant takes possession of the property and is liable for rent, and continues until the end of the rental period.

3. Fixed assets investments note

Fixed Assets – Investment Property The company holds investment property for the purpose of earning rental income and/or capital appreciation. Investment property is initially measured at cost, including transaction costs. Subsequently, it is measured at fair value, with changes in fair value recognised in profit or loss. The fair value of investment property is determined annually by the directors, based on market evidence and, where appropriate, external valuations.
