The Art of Wellbeing in the last financial year has supported families all over the North West in reducing the financial pressures on families and supporting their wellbeing. The company hosts 'swap shop' events where families can swap outgrown clothes for preloved items. This helps save clothing from going into landfill and reducing peoples carbon footprint. This event focus's solely on helping families by providing support in affordable (often free) but quality children's clothing, toys and books and other items. Hosting the events has supported families with the cost of living crisis and meant families have found affordable clothing on a budget. Many families have also made connections with other local people and we have even taken on volunteers who support our work. The Art of Wellbeing has also hosted a family fun day using monies gained through swap shop to put back into the community to provide a free day out for families to enjoy without worrying about cost.
