  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for goods supplied and services rendered, net of discounts and Value Added Tax. Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership have transferred to the buyer (usually on despatch of the goods); the amount of revenue can be measured reliably; it is probable that the associated economic benefits will flow to the entity; and the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transactions can be measured reliably.

Company activities and impact

Community benefits are working with charities and CIC groups and local organisations to deliver free workshops , tuition and instruction on land art creation, bringing international artists together with locals in community arts activities as well as contributing a huge increase to the local economy and publicity for Dunbar and East Lothian.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders are just the 3 directors. There hasn't been a consultation, so no action taken. Though we do talk regularly.

Directors' remuneration

James Page - remuneration - £800 for management of festival and delivery of festival workshop. Reimbursement of CIC expenses £305.78 Aaron Tierney - £300 for delivery of CIC website. Laurence Winram - reimbursement of CIC expenses £125.
