This year, our dance studio has continued to provide an inclusive, welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can experience the joy and benefits of dance. We have: Delivered weekly low-cost and free dance classes for children from low-income families, ensuring that cost was never a barrier to participation. Offered special sessions for older adults and people with disabilities, improving mobility, confidence, and social connection. Organised two free community performances, bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds to celebrate creativity and cultural expression. Partnered with local schools and youth groups to run confidence-building workshops, helping young people develop teamwork, discipline, and self-esteem. Provided volunteer and work experience opportunities for young aspiring dance teachers, supporting their career development. Feedback from participants shows improved physical health, reduced social isolation, and increased sense of belonging in our community. Our work this year has not only taught dance skills but has helped build friendships, resilience, and pride in local culture.
