During the financial year, Little Nest Rescue has made valuable contributions to the community by providing meaningful volunteering opportunities and support for vulnerable adults and local groups. Supported Volunteering Opportunities: We have partnered with organisations within Salford Council to offer supervised and supported volunteering placements specifically for vulnerable adults, including those with additional needs. This has helped participants gain confidence, develop skills, and improve their wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment. Collaborations with Local Support Groups: We have worked closely with various local support groups to extend access to volunteering opportunities and community engagement, fostering social inclusion and connection among people who might otherwise experience isolation. Foundations for Future Growth: While our wellbeing garden and educational programs are still under development, these initiatives are planned to further enhance community engagement and support in the coming years. Through these efforts, Little Nest Rescue has positively impacted the lives of vulnerable adults and contributed to building stronger, more inclusive community networks in Salford and nearby areas.
