The company has continued to run No Just art workshops for people living with Dementia. The classes have benefited the community in the following ways: - The classes have helped upwards of 40 people, whether they attend or are carers who can enjoy free time while their loved one takes part in the class - The 2025 calendars featuring the participants art were a success, with over 50 being distributed across the community to help raise awareness about dementia and the benefits of the class. - An exhibition is being planned in a local community centre in the aims to raise more money and awareness and increase local connections within Aberdeen - There have been 5+ volunteers from across the city, some have completed projects alongside No Just and others have even used it on their CV to earn new jobs.
The company's stakeholders are the people who attend and their loved ones as well. The directors of the company are relations to the stakeholders and are even stakeholders as well. We are always in informal communication with the participants and are keen to hear if they have any suggestions for improvements. All participants have contact details for the directors and can get in touch over time. These communications have allowed us to understand the individuals, about tasks they would like or dislike. And it has revealed that the majority of participants enjoy seeing new faces, having external people come in for new workshops or visiting new locations can help everyone feel more involved with society.
