Company activities and impact

The company runs a croquet club. This operates from the Duncton Village Hall, thereby supporting the Hall and village community financially. Membership is drawn from a wide local area and is open to all; we have a number of members with disabilities and support older people with U3A and other activities. We are of particular help to those who live on their own as we provide a social environment and a stimulating one. Membership is advertised widely and support given to new members. We are the only such club in the area. The club has 78 members at present and provides employment to a number of tradesmen.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are its members and the Village Hall committee. all are asked regularly for their views on club activities, both informally at roll-up sessions and formally at the AGM. Company directors are at the club regularly to receive opinions.
