COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

OPERATION SANTA CIC

Company Number: 13685971 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2024

Company activities and impact

This was our 4th year of fundraising (we are now a registered charity, since Oct 24 and will be closing the CIC) and providing brand new xmas presents and seasonal treats for children and families in Druids Heath and surrounding areas in South Birmingham. Our most successful year to date in view of impact. We reached: Children: 281 Parents: 170 Families: 125 Community events included: quizzes, raffles, discos/entertainments, and a big auction. We were also supported by individual sponsors and other local companies who ran events and raised funds they donated to us. We continue to develop relationships with primary schools in Druids Heath and Spearhead as our main beneficiaries. We also have local schools who donate collections of chocolate and biscuits to include in treat bags.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have regular team meetings with the volunteers who help to fundraise both in view of their involvement with our events and in view of how they can add value as an individual e.g. one of our volunteers is involved with a performing arts group and they routinely support with quizzes and concerts where they raise donations. Sarah and I meet routinely with the school/Spearhead representatives - ensuring we are responding accurately/appropriately to the needs of the community we help.
