By providing guidance, translation, and advice to asylum seekers and refugees, arranging appointments with GPs, specialists, and hospitals, and accompanying and supporting them. We also assist disabled and vulnerable people, both British and non-British, by helping them with gardening, shopping, and other daily needs.
Yes. We regularly consult with our stakeholders, including asylum seekers, refugees, disabled people, vulnerable individuals, and partner organisations. Consultation takes place through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and informal discussions to gather feedback on our services. Their input has helped us improve support with medical appointments, translation, gardening, shopping, and other daily needs.
No remuneration was received
We provided items such as Zimmer frames, equipment, and furniture to individuals in need, especially asylum seekers and refugees, free of charge. In some cases, we also provided loans (such as for rental deposits) or paid rent and other essential living costs to support vulnerable people. These transfers were made as part of our charitable activities and in line with our community benefit objectives.
