COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

EMPATHY ANIMALS CIC

Company Number: 14457550 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 November 2024

Company activities and impact

We have continued to grow our network of volunteer therapy dogs visiting educational settings. They make weekly visits and offer hang-out sessions with our dogs for children that may be struggling with their emotions. These sessions are proving to be invaluable for the children, offering a safe and non-judgemental place for them to communicate and be seen.

Consultation with stakeholders

We are regularly gaining feedback from our volunteers, schools, parents and children. This is done through meetings, emails and feedback forms. The feedback is consistent with last year’s CIC 34 form, in that the children we see are more receptive and excited on the days they get to hang-out with their dog. Communication is increased and the benefits are tangible. The welfare of the dogs is closely monitored by Therapy Dog Training UK with medical records and vaccinations up to date and checks with their Trainers.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received
