Principal activities of the company

The CFAP CIC continues to provide Food Aid support via an Operation Conducted every Friday at the Wheatsheaf Community Centre, in vauxhall London SW8. In addition to this Dance Therapy & Mental Health Wellbeing Activities are carried out on a Wednesday in Care Homes and there arer ad hoc activities such as Jumble Sales and Day Trips. The activities continue to be funded from the pocket of Mike Wootten, though it is hoped that 24/25 may allow some director remuneration as Grant applications become more successful

Company activities and impact

WEEKLY Wednesdays Dance Therapy & Mental Wellbeing Classes Gentle dance routines suitable for Senior Citizens carried out at Care Homes in south London Arts & crafts activities Hot drinks, biscuits and cakes provided for participants Fridays Food Aid Operation Now in its 5th year; re-distribution of excess food from suppliers such as Fair Share and Felix Project, aimed at reaching the most impoverished segments of our community Ad Hoc Trips for Volunteers and refugees to locations outside of London, so that they can "escape" the City for a few hours and experience other locations, like the seaside, tourist attractions and museums

Consultation with stakeholders

Users of the Food Aid Operation are asked to register and prove their status, prior to provision of service, though in truth people are rarely turned away. There are fewer people requiring this service today than in the period 2020-2022, however, there is still a need and new users are identified almost as quickly as previous users no longer require assistance.
