D & R Tutoring Services provides tutoring in the core subjects, mathematics English and Science from primary to seconda1Y level. We have a strong focus on students sitting GCSE and 1 1+ exams. D & R Tutoring services operates in Lambeth, one of the most deprived boroughs in London. This means parents cannot afford private tuition and therefore we price our services at a very low fee to make it affordable for vulnerable children. We also run a mentoring program to help change the mindset of the rapidly growing youths in the community. We believe that or educational and continuingly programs play a vital role in the development or the young men and women in the borough and have a positive impact on society.
The company's stakeholders are learners and parents in and around the Tulse Hill community in Lambeth. Our directors of the company taught in one of the local secondary schools, know and communications with learners, parents, and other residents of the community. We ask learners, parents and residents in the communities where our center is to fill in a short questionnaire about their tutoring need. This has helped us to build up a profile of local learners' needs and what we can do to meet them more effectively. Our research has enabled us to identify that there are about 205 households in the community with learners at the age of primary and secondary.’, without access to low-cost tutoring services and who would directly benefit from our tutoring provision at our low fees. We encourage parents and learners to put their ideas in our "suggestions box" for them to provide details of their preferred subjects and tutoring services which they would like us to offer and improve.
