Good Botanics creates environmentally and socially conscious plant-based products that nourish and support the body. Our work is rooted in the traditions of herbal medicine and sustainable agriculture. We cultivate organic medicinal herbs in Bethnal Green, East London, and partner with small-scale ethical farmers for additional ingredients. Guided by the principles of earth care, people care, and fair share, we reinvest profits into projects that advance environmental and social justice, most notably, the Mobile Apothecary. Since 2019, the Mobile Apothecary has brought together volunteers from herbalism, horticulture, and the arts to learn about medicinal plants and collectively prepare remedies. These are distributed free of charge to community members experiencing barriers to health, food, and shelter. The Mobile Apothecary delivered a free street service on the last Sunday of each month between 7-8pm. Parallel to this we hold monthly plant walks, harvesting and medicine making workshops In addition, our Bethnal Green medicine garden serves as a space for land care workshops, urban growing, and the preservation of herbal traditions.
