Luma Community CIC are a recognised organisation in the community of Bedfordshire. We are key facilitators of music education within schools and hard to reach communities, offering workshops to engage young people, with a view to building confidence, raise employability criteria and encourage working in group environments. As a team of musicians working actively in the creative industry, we educate and facilitate sessions with the council. We are approved service providers for Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes music services.
The Company directors have monthly meetings with council service managers as key stake holders to Luma Community CIC to ensure we are upholding quality of delivery and are in adherence to all safeguarding and education responsibilities. We are covered within the councils Music Service audit report as delivery partners as well as conducting and end of year Annual General Meeting as a CIC between stakeholders and directors.
