    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    1 Statutory information Destanzan Cic is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 14499052. 2 Compliance with accounting standards The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard. 3 Accounting policies The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts. Basis of preparation The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets. Presentation currency The accounts are presented in £ sterling.

The work includes providing employment training workshops, such as creative writing and design culture initiatives. The company’s activities have benefited the community in many ways: -We created paid opportunities for local professionals. -We increased our collaboration with local organisations expanding our network. - Provided training support refugees and migrants in building successful careers. -Our audience engagement grew by 60%, reflecting the broader reach -We developed initiatives designed to build specific media skills, using social media strategies -Collaborated with local organisations on creative writing and publishing workshops, -Invested in the professional growth of our local people through eight training workshops. -Increased involvement in local projects and expanded outreach programmes. Destanzan CIC remains committed to growing its business while building a strong community. Our projects in 2023-2024 have had a positive social impact and a strong foundation for sustainability.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders, including residents, local businesses, community organisations, and potential employees, are crucial to our mission of amplifying the voices of the underrepresented, nurturing emerging talent, and driving social change.
