  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances.

Company activities and impact

The company runs Pony Therapy Sessions for children of all ages and abilities. We have a particular interest in supporting SEND children. We also run HAF School’s Out sessions during in school holidays to support families with children who receive Free Schools Meals and we provide a free lunch at every session. We are in partnership with Neighbourly who are an organisation committed to reducing food waste. We have several collections per week which enables us to provide food support to people in the local community who are in need. We also entertain children and give them experience of riding our ponys. We were successful in applying for funding from the One community and Kirklees council. We were given a grant of £19266 to enable us to provide food and utilities support to the local community. We were able to help more then 250 people, including families within our area.
