Major Events: Exeter Seed Swap 2024 -was held at Positive Light Projects (March 2024) This included demonstrations and other charities and was attended by over 500 people. Over 4000 packets of seeds were distributed during this event and at other green events and libraries. TRANSITION Project: We received funding to create a Seed Guardian Mentoring program. This enabled us pay for the expertise of 3 other Seed Guardian mentors to support a total of 10 new Seed Guardians through the process of growing plants for seed.

Consultation with stakeholders

Following the unsuccessful attempts for funding from the National Lottery, we produced an online questionnaire and received 67 responses from our newsletter subscribers and social media followers. From this, we have shaped our future projects including more engagement and talks on issues surrounding urban growing and soil health. Our facebook members group grew from 800 to 1219 and we promote all of our events on these pages. We also have an Instagram account that grew from 500 followers to 1270 followers and through all these social media points, people are able to indicate their interest and support of our activities or suggestions for improvement. Our stakeholders are individuals and community growing groups across the city of Exeter as well as a residential community for adults with learning disabilities just outside of Exeter who supported out tomato seedling distribution. Audiences are invited to give feedback at all of our events/workshops Our continuity with using Exeter Phoenix as a space and the time of the week (Sunday) has led to a very good attendance at all our workshop events there. We participate in other events to talk about our aims and hear what people have to say about our work.
