  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives: Motor vehicles 5 Years SL Computer equipment 3 Years SL

    Other accounting policies

    The company is limited by guarantee and has no share capital. Every member of the company undertakes to contribute to the assets of the company, in the event of a winding up, such an amount as may be required not exceeding £10.

Company activities and impact

In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. We have delivered directly to young people and communities across the Yorkshire region and have partnered with other like-minded organisations across England to bring about effective social change. The type of activities we have been involved in this year include: Supporting young people form disadvantaged communities. Provided expertise to communities in order to create a more cohesive society. Supported a range of VCSE organisations to provide services in their local community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders Young people ,Communities leaders, School and colleges, Business, Funders Consultation We provide lots of opportunities throughout the year for stakeholders to influence and shape our work. This includes: Questionnaires, Informal discussions, Formal discussions, Media footage and Testimonials Feedback on consultation We have created a partner and participant ‘voice’ which helps inform our work. This year the ‘voice’ work has shaped our delivery and our consultation process.
