| The Charity's objects are to support any charity or any charitable purpose in Lower Fishguard and the surrounding area as the Directors decide. |
| During the year the Trust continued to inspect and carry out day-to-day maintenance of the Trust's playground equipment in the village. The grounds belong to Pembrokeshire County Council and the responsibility for maintenance of the grounds and equipment lies with Fishguard & Goodwick Town Council to whom the Trustees report from time to time on any issues that have arisen. . |
| The Trust also continued to keep a watching brief over the two sculptures in its care. |
| Very sadly the Trustees report the passing away on 19 December 2024 of the Trusts long -standing Treasurer and Trustee Mrs Annette Marshall. . |
| Structure and Governance |
| The Charity is controlled by its governing document, a memorandum of association, and constitutes a limited company, limited by guarantee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006. |
| Financial Review |
| No fundraising took place during the year since reserves were felt to be sufficient for immediate purposes. |
| Recruitment and appointment of new trustees |
| The directors of the company are also charity trustees for the purposes of charity law and under the company's Articles are known as members of the company. Under the requirements of the Memorandum and Articles of Association the directors are required to retire by rotation. Appointment of directors is by the charity in general meeting or by the directors. |
