COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

Company activities and impact

Providing free, professionally written and easily accessible advice articles to support parents going through a divorce and separation remains central to much of our work. Such advice articles are read by thousands of parents every year. In partnership with Devon County Council we also developed a service that gave free initial guidance to separating parents with school age children in Devon. We have developed the range of training that we make available to those working with separating families. We delivered our What about Henry training to another 100+ professionals. We developed new courses too. Working with Dr Angharad Rudkin and Prof Amna Tarrant we hosted on-line training courses on neurodiversity, fatherhood and trauma. All these causes lie at the heart of so much of the work being done to support separating families. We also ran our first ever conference. This was done with the University of Reading and with 90 delegates, we explored in depth how a multi-disciplinary approach to a family separation can work better for families. 12 undergraduates studying family law attended and the whole day proved successful.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have a number of different stakeholders. Separating parents firstly and then a whole range of professionals working with separating families. These include family solicitors, family mediators, and other specialists like divorce coaches. We ask for written feedback on everything we do and monitor all comments carefully. The training courses we developed (see above) came about as a direct result of the feedback we received from those taking our What about Henry course.

Directors' remuneration

Directors' remuneration of £2,200 was paid to the directors during the year, as reported within the CIC's 2024 Accounts.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
