Longsight Boxing Club provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to train. For many, it serves as a second home offering structure, discipline, and a vital alternative to the dangers of street crime and gang culture. Run largely by dedicated volunteers, the club fosters a strong family atmosphere where young people can grow in confidence and find purpose. It has become a cornerstone of the Longsight community, not only giving hope to the next generation but also producing real sporting talent. The club has proudly developed multiple national champions and currently boasts two senior England internationals. Among them is Abdulrahman Burton, a standout athlete tipped to represent Team GB at the upcoming Olympic Games.
