Company activities and impact

We provide training and access to expertise and knowledge in setting up social businesses for local people, particularly those who most marginalised and disadvantaged from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and we provide design services (UX, web, print) to small to small/medium sized organisations. We are also a part of the UK Online Network (we are an accredited Centre No - 8007476).

Consultation with stakeholders

Our organisation came about through our discussions and meetings with local people and groups who shared their concerns about the future needs of residents, particularly young people and adults in being able to cope in the changed economic and social environment. We hold focus group interviews whilst working in partnership with other local groups providing wrap around support to the young adults to ensure that we are responding to the issues that concern them most that are not being met elsewhere. Our team is small – 1 staff member and so we rely on and involved local people as volunteers with outreach, promoting our work through social media and word of mouth and supporting the delivery of activities. We are all from the local community and so bring an understanding of the lived experiences of the people we aim to serve and use the insights and feedback we are able to gather to inform our future activities.
