COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

THE LET'S TALK PROJECT CIC

Company Number: 13799010 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 December 2024

Company activities and impact

During the year, The Let’s Talk Project CIC continued to provide emotional support and listening services to members of the community experiencing difficulties with their mental wellbeing. Our volunteers offered a safe, confidential space for people to talk about their concerns, reducing feelings of isolation and helping individuals to access further support when needed. The project’s activities benefited the community by improving access to informal, early-stage support, particularly for those who might otherwise struggle to reach professional services. We maintained our local presence through our community space, which has been used to host listening sessions and signposting activity. This work has contributed to stronger community resilience, better wellbeing outcomes, and an increased awareness of available support networks. Although funding has been limited, the CIC has focused on sustaining its core offer and preparing for future growth. This has included developing plans for a telephone-based support line, which will extend our reach and allow us to support more people in the year ahead.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have consulted stakeholders in the following ways: Gathering informal feedback directly from service users during and after support sessions Holding regular discussions with volunteers to identify challenges and improvements Liaising with local community groups and partner organisations to ensure our services complement existing provision Holding an Annual General Meeting (AGM), at which stakeholders are invited to review our activities, share feedback and shape our future direction

Directors' remuneration

Wendy Carson was employed as a part-time employee for part of this financial year, as stated in the accounts. No other remuneration was received by the directors.
