During the financial year ending November 2024, the company did not deliver direct services as no grant funding was secured. However, activities during this period still provided benefit to the community in the following ways: We received a small donation through an online giving platform, which demonstrated continuing community support for our mission and helped maintain organisational stability. Work began on research and planning for a new “Wellbeing Box” project designed to support neurodivergent young people. This preparatory stage has involved exploring needs, potential resources, and delivery methods to ensure the project will be effective once funding is secured. By focusing on development and readiness, the company has ensured it remains in a strong position to launch impactful projects as soon as funding opportunities arise, keeping the voices and needs of neurodivergent young people at the centre of our planning.
During this financial year, consultation was carried out at board level. Myself, together with our newly appointed director (January 2024), Grace [Surname], began research for the planned Wellbeing Box project for neurodivergent young people. As part of this process, we initiated planning to engage with local schools and other potential partners, with the aim of developing collaborative approaches and ensuring the project reflects the real needs of the young people it is intended to support. This early-stage consultation has helped shape the direction of our project and will form the foundation for wider stakeholder engagement in the coming year.
