    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances.

Company activities and impact

During this financial year we produced the Experience Salcombe Brochure which advertiser pay for space, we make a small profit which aids us to run the Information Centre. The centre is manned five days a week mainly by volunteers and we employ IT and Social media expertise. We offer information to the community, local businesses and visitors alike, dealing with what’s on, where to go, lost property, bus timetables etc. We also produce a monthly newsletter to all with local information and news. We have an active social media presence where we can share all relative information to the community. Ie Church News, Town Council News, RNLI reports etc. Experience Salcombe help the Salcombe community to celebrate all the annual events i.e. Easter, Christmas and all National Events in way of organising and supporting financially.
