Cathy's Wellbeing Club has a mission to establish a true sense of Community through the & Cs of Cooperation, Collaboration, Coaching, Communication, Creativity, Compassion and Celebration. We have held on and offline activities to meet these aims including a face to face launch event and quiz. We have held online events such as photography and writing competitions. We have written collaborative books on a number of our themes- Celebration, Cooperation, Collaboration and Celebration. We are working on collaborative books about- Coaching, Communication and Compassion. We have raised funds in a variety of ways including donating the profits from our books. We have a book club and we have run events such as camping and picnics. People enjoy dropping into our Facebook Wellbeing Cafe. We have over 350 members who regularly visit our group and enjoy participating in the activities. We have enjoyed visiting like minded organisations too. We have supported events run by a local animal sanctuary, for example.
Stakeholders are regularly polled for their opinion on events and activities for our club. They help suggest the book of the month for our book club, for example. We ask our members where they would like to meet up face to face, and as a result of these consultations, we have held most events in Kent, UK.
