Project Overview The Empowering Young Women project supported 20 young women (aged 18-24) from the BAME community who faced challenges such as unemployment, low self-confidence, and mental health struggles. the project equipped participants with the tools to improve their mental health, enhance employability skills, and build confidence for personal and professional success. Key Activities and Delivery 1. Online Workshops: - Topics included: - Mental health awareness and emotional intelligence. - Managing stress and anxiety. - Building confidence and resilience. - Goal setting and career planning. - Apprenticeships and internship opportunities. 2. In-Person Workshop: - CV writing and identifying strong CV examples. - Personal branding and public speaking. - Networking opportunities with local professionals and entrepreneurs. 3. Safe Space Creation: Participants were encouraged to openly share their concerns without judgement, fostering a supportive environment.
